He is cocky and intelligent, tall and lean. He wears his thick hair in a complicated arrangement of swirls. He is also tough—he once held off four opponents in a fight with a broken soda bottle. He sees Ponyboyas Sodapop's annoying kid brother and wishes Ponyboy would not tag along so often. Smokes often but not all the time. Best friends with Sodapop since childhood. Keith “Two-Bit” Daniel Matthews: 18 years old. usually just called “Two-Bit”Two-Bit Matthews is the oldest member of the Greasers. He is optimistic, kind, and very funny; he loves cracking jokes, and he is always loyal to the other Greasers. Physically, Two-Bit is tall and muscular, he has gray eyes and "rusty-colored sideburns," and he is always grinning. Smokes often but not all the time. He goes to school, but he’s in junior year from flunking so many times. He only goes to school to clown around and socialize. Doesn’t curse that often. Johnathan Andrew Cade: 16 years old.
