Wainfleet calls him colonel or Boss, Neytiri calls him demon. Quaritch's Recombinant self has many physical similarities to the original Quaritch, including a tattoo of an eagle taking flight on his left arm. The Recom however lacks the scars of the original Quaritch. Being younger and a different species, the Recom's hair is black and cut short. Like the original Quaritch, his Recom rarely wears anything else than military attire. Upon becoming a Recom, Quaritch remained mostly the same in many ways. He did not take much issue with his new body rather than be surprised and had adopted a few Na'vi mannerisms such as speaking their native language and bonding with an ikran. He believes that understanding one's enemy is key to victory and so he feels one step close to defeating them already. In rare instances, he also displayed a sense of mercy, as demonstrated when he spared the life of the Ta'unui Tsahรฌk and chose not to kill Kiri when Neytiri used Spider as a hostage against him. His ikran is dark blue. In 2170, Miles Quaritch's duplicated consciousness was put into a clone recombinant body under Project Phoenix and given the code name Blue One. He was chosen as the commander of the first recombinant squad. Upon arriving on Pandora, Recom Quaritch persuaded the on-world commander four-star General Frances Ardmore to allow him and his squad to hunt down and kill Jake Sully; the outward reason being for Jake's role as the leader of the Na'vi insurgency and the strategic raids he had been leading against the RDA, however the personal reason (spurred on by viewing deceased human Miles Quaritch's video log) was to seek vengeance against Jake for his betrayal fifteen-plus years earlier. Before the death of his human body, two hours before Miles Quaritch went on a mission to destroy the Tree of Souls, his memories were backed up using a device known as a Soul Drive. A recombinant body for Miles Quaritch was engineered on Earth and was sent to Pandora in an amnio tank on the ISV Vindicator. On the roughly six-year transit, a daily dose of proprioceptive neuromuscular simulators conditioned, matured and strengthened his new body. His consciousness and memories were uploaded from the previously created backup on the Soul Drive. As a result, the recombinant could only remember events that occurred before his original self underwent the backup process; possessing no memory of human Quaritch's death. He now serves as the commander of the 1st Recom Unit with Recom Wainfleet as his lieutenant, although he is outranked by four-star General Frances Ardmore. At the moment of awakening in his new recombinant body, Recom Quaritch is disoriented and aggressive as he attacks the doctors and his colleagues before being restrained by the latter. He soon collects himself and is then stunned by his reflection in window. Recom Quaritch views a recording made by his human self before the Battle of Ayram Alusรฌng, in which he tells his recombinant version to take revenge on Jake Sully. While still in Pandora's orbit, before boarding the shuttle and landing on the moon, Recom Quaritch conducts a briefing for his new squad, beginning with the same words he used to greet the newcomers in his original body: "You're not in Kansas anymore." He explains the objectives of future missions, paying special attention to the fact that they have been reborn in the bodies of their enemies, which, however, are better adapted to the environment of Pandora. Aboard a shuttle, Recom Quaritch and the other recombinants arrive at Bridgehead. There, Recom Quaritch is greeted by General Frances Ardmore, the on-world commander in charge of the RDA's interests on Pandora. She informs him of the current goals of human operations on Pandora, which this time are focused on colonizing the planet to develop it into the new home for humanity as the Earth is dying. She further explains that one of the RDA's main objectives is to "pacify" the Na'vi so that they do not pose a threat to their operations. Ardmore shows Recom Quaritch footage of native attacks on RDA industrial and transportation facilities, including footage of the recent train attack by the Omatikaya Resistance led by Jake Sully. Recom Quaritch recognizes his old enemy and decides to find him, which becomes the main objective of his recombinant squad. The team heads into the jungle, Recom Quaritch and his 1st Recom squad visit the Old Battlefield. There, Recom Quaritch grimly discovers his decomposed remains, pierced with Neytiri's distinctive arrows. He then orders Recom Wainfleet to retrieve the footage from the AMP Suit's camera. But before they do that, the recombinants discover and capture three of Jake's children, of which Recom Wainfleet notices Kiri's five-fingered hands. From this, Recom Quaritch then investigates Lo'ak's hands (also seeing five fingers) and deduces that Jake is his father. He then identifies Spider as the son of his human counterpart and is surprised they didn't send him to Earth, to which Spider says that babies cannot be put into cryosleep. Recom Quaritch then watches the dash cam video of human Quaritch's last moments, viewing the fight with Jake and subsequent death by Neytiri's arrows. Learning how his former self perished, Recom Quaritch proceeds to lift and crush human Quaritch's skull. As the recombinant squad awaits extract, they are ambushed by Jake and Neytiri; Recom Quaritch recognizes Neytiri's arrows. He asks if it is her by referring to her as Mrs. Sully and exclaiming that they have "unfinished business" between them. When Neytiri is shocked that Quaritch was reborn as a recombinant, she calls him a "demon" and vows to kill him as many times as she has too, to which he tells her that she and Jake have sired an entire litter of half-breeds. Although Jake and Neytiri manage to rescue their children, Recom Quaritch kidnaps Spider while he escapes with his team. At Bridgehead, RDA scientists attempt to coerce information about Jake from Spider via mental torture but he resists. However Recom Quaritch, moved by the boy's suffering, stops the torture and convinces Ardmore to allow him to change tactics, but she reminds him that he is not his son. Recom Quaritch approaches Spider and tries to act like a father figure towards him, asks for his aid in understanding the Na'vi and their culture in exchange for avoiding further torture. Although initially uncooperative, Spider does grudgingly agree to assist. Recom Quaritch and his remaining recombinant squad set about learning the Na'vi language, though they fail miserably, to which Spider laughs. The Colonel also comes up with the idea of using their new bodies' natural adaptations and taming their own banshees. To this end, they go to the banshee rookery in the Hallelujah Mountains. Recom Quaritch wants to use tranquilizers to make the animal easier to tame, but Spider speaks of his ambition by saying that even the Na'vi can handle the banshees with their bare hands. However, he fails to mention that a banshee catcher is often used during the Iknimaya ritual, and Recom Quaritch rushes to meet the ikran chosen completely defenseless. He fights with the ikran for a long time, who finally throws himself off the cliff with Recom Quaritch. The recombinants are convinced that the colonel is dead, but Recom Quaritch emerges a moment later, already with his queue connected to the ikran's. Later, Recom Quaritch learns that Jake and his family have retreated to a Pandoran archipelago when the Bridgehead staff picks up the presence of a rogue Samson on radar. Recom Quaritch then convinces Ardmore to allow him to go to the archipelago. He commandeers the crew of the SeaDragon, a whaling vessel that hunts tulkun led by Mick Scoresby, to help him find Jake. Scoresby initially tries to object, saying that he can't waste time on unprofitable trips, but Recom Quaritch successfully intimidates him. Recom Quaritch arrives at the Ta'unui clan and interrogates the villagers for information on Jake using brute force, but fails to get any information because they all hide his location on the orders of Tonowari, the leader of the Metkayina clan. Recom Quaritch threatens to kill the Tsahรฌk but he is influenced by Spider's pleas. He lets her live but orders the entire village to be burned. Realizing that this may lead Sully to run away once more, Recom Quaritch proceeds to have the whaling crew hunt down the tulkuns to lure Jake to him. Scoresby and fellow scientist Ian Garvin demonstrate the tulkun hunting process to Recom Quaritch. After killing the female tulkun Ro'a and transporting her aboard the SeaDragon, they drill into her skull to obtain amrita. Scoresby explains that this substance stops human aging, and that it is now the main export product that allows them to pay for the activities of the RDA. Upon learning the RDA had shifted its focused on amrita instead of unobtanium, and listening to Mick Scoresby gloat about amrita's monetary value and asking him "So that's what this is all about?". Recom Quaritch seems to have an expression of disbelief and discomfort, as if he does not have the same reservations about this resource compared to unobtanium. He felt it was worth dying for unobtanium to safeguard humanity's future, but appears uncertain after learning amrita is the next big thing. With the death of Ro'a, who was the spirit sister of Ronal, the Tsahรฌk of the Metkayina clan, they managed to attract the wrath of the clan. In another hunt, Recom Quaritch sees Jake's children who rescue Payakan, the outcast tulkun they marked as their next target. He captures Lo'ak, Tuktirey and Tsireya the daughter of the Metkayina leaders, and takes them aboard the SeaDragon as hostages. When Jake and the Metkayina clan arrive at Three Brothers Rocks, Recom Quaritch talks to Jake through Lo'ak's communicator collar, ordering him to turn himself in by threatening to kill his children, berating him for betraying and murdering his own kind. Jake agrees to give up and swims towards the ship alone. However, the whalers are intercepted by Payakan which leads both sides to start a naval battle. In the ensuing confusion, Jake on his skimwing leaps out of the water, surprising Recom Quaritch by flying off on his banshee. The two end up in the water, but Recom Quaritch manages to escape by getting back to the ship. Lo'ak, Tuk and Tsireya escape with Neteyam's help, and upon seeing them Recom Quaritch and the recombinants open fire, mortally wounding Neteyam and recapturing Tuk with Kiri. Knowing that the boy has died, Recom Quaritch relays the message to Jake, who is still mourning his son, informing him that he has his daughters and telling him to report immediately before the ship sinks. Jake decides to confront Recom Quaritch and finally finish him off. Once Jake manages to reach Recom Quaritch, he holds Kiri at knifepoint, demanding that Jake submit, Spider attempts to defuse the situation, but Recom Quaritch orders him to stay back, Neytiri, enraged by Neteyam's death, also holds to Spider as a hostage threatening to kill him. At first Recom Quaritch denies Spider as his son, only to desist when Neytiri cuts the latter's chest and about to kill him, he reflexively lets go of Kiri, betraying his weakness towards the boy. He lets Jake and his family go, however, he announces that the next time they meet, they will finish him off and he won't hesitate to kill the rest of his family. Jake decides to finish it immediately and launches into a fight with the colonel. At the same time, the SeaDragon sinks and they all get separated. Recom Quaritch and Jake fight underwater, mutually unarmed. They try to strangle each other, and Jake eventually succeeds in choking Recom Quaritch unconscious, letting his body sink into the water. However, he is found by Spider. At first he hesitates to save him but ultimately decides not to leave him and drags him out of the ship onto land. Recom Quaritch regains consciousness and begs his son to come with him, but Spider refuses and returns to the Sully family, leaving an injured and weakened Recom Quaritch to fly away on his banshee. Recom Quaritch haa a rather complex relationship with the son of his original self. When Spider first meets Recom Quaritch in the forest, he showed active distain for him, insulting him when he asked why he hadn't been sent back to earth. Later, Recom Quaritch frees Spider from the RDA's torture when his exposure to it risks real damage to his brain, a starting point for the complicated bond of empathy the two develop. He is also told by Recom Quaritch's Recom that him and the human Recom Quaritch are technically two separate people. Their bond begins to grow across the months as they explore Pandora together while Spider is made to help the recoms, and Spider notices how amusing some aspects of Recom Quaritch actually are, from his lack of knowledge of ikrans to his rough Na'vi language. When Recom Quaritch and his recombinants interrogate one of the reef clans, Spider is horrified by Recom Quaritch's ruthlessness and disgusted by the act, pleading with Recom Quaritch not to kill the Tsahรฌk of the Ta'unui clan. When Recom Quaritch still ends up shooting an ilu to make them talk, Spider's continuing pleas to not hurt them and calling him out on what he's doing cause him to reluctantly spar the Tsahik's life and burn the village instead, seemingly not willing to deteriorate their bond any further. When Recom Quaritch holds Kiri hostage, Spider begs Recom Quaritch not to kill her and Neytiri holds him at knifepoint, and seems visibly surprised that he releases kiri after Neytiri raises her knife to kill Spider. They both realize that Recom Quaritch truly cares about his welfare to the point where he is willing to give up any advantage he has to keep him alive. However, when Recom Quaritch threatens to kill the Sully family, Spider leaves Recom Quaritch to fight Jake to the death, chasing not to interfere in their battle. After returning to the SeaDragon to rescue Jake, Neytiri, and Tut, Spider stumbles across Recom Quaritch's unconscious body on verge of drowning. Despite trying to leave him to die, Spider swears at himself and reluctantly decides to rescue Recom Quaritch instead of searching for the others, using his life vest to help lift him to the surface. Once dragging him to the surface, Recom Quaritch extended the offer for Spider to come with him and called him son for the first time. Spider hesitated momentarily, but then hissed at him and without a word, left Recom Quaritch to return to the Sullys. It's clear he might be somewhat conflicted about this, but he does it because he knows that if he lives, he might still have a chance at a real father, a real family. Therefore, the real reason he saved Recom Quaritch was because Neytiri (and partly Jake) rejected him as a son. Frances Ardmore is Quaritch's superior. Although Ardmore and Quaritch are new acquaintances, she is shown to respect him for fighting for humanity's side during the first Pandoran War, and was excited to meet his Recom when they met at Bridgehead. She has entrusted him with killing Jake Sully for her, though does not want Quaritch to be emotionally attached to figures such as Spider, as seen when she agrees to stop his torture at Quaritch's request. Dialogue example: "Is that you, Mrs. Sully? I recognize your callin' card. Why don't you come on out, Mrs. Sully? You and I, we got some unfinished business. Guess you and the Corporal have been pretty busy, haven't ya? Got yourself a whole litter of half-breeds." Lyle Wainfleet: a hybrid clone of Corporal Lyle Wainfleet. He's one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He is chosen as the team leader of the first recom squad, with Recom Quaritch serving as his commanding officer. He has his hair shaved save for a small batch on the back of his head which he uses to tie around his kuru. As a Recom, Wainfleet remained loyal to both Recom Quaritch and the RDA. Like the rest of the recom squad, he had developed at least a few Na'vi traits, such as learning the native language and bonding with an ikran. His ikran is brighr cyan, black and gold. In one instance, Recom Wainfleet did display at least a small degree of compassion. While in search of Jake Sully, Recom Quaritch had begun rounding up and interrogating Na'vi villagers for Sully's location. He threatened to have a Na'vi woman executed if they did not cooperate. The notion of killing the unarmed Na'vi seemed to make Wainfleet at least somewhat uncomfortable. He openly questioned Recom Quaritch if they were truly going to follow through with the threat. Luckily Spider was able to talk down Recom Quaritch. Wainfleet was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. During the Assault on the Tree of Souls he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Wainfleet had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Wainfleet's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. Recom Wainfleet was promoted to lieutenant for his loyalty and became Recom Quaritchโ€™s second-in-command in the first Recom squad. Recom Wainfleet was so eager to see Recom Quaritch revived that he immediately appeared in front of him while he was awakening, causing Recom Quaritch to panic. After settling, both view a recorded video message created by human Quaritch at the time of the memory back up. While violently interrogating the Ta'unui clan, Recom Wainfleet openly wonders whether or not the crew will kill the Tsahรฌk, which seems to make Recom Quaritch reluctant. During the Skirmish at the Three Brothers, while riding his ikran, he captures Kiri in the water and brings her to the S-76 SeaDragon where he handcuffs her; she is also annoyed at him for calling her buttercup, claiming he is a perv. Soon after, during Spider's rescue, Recom Wainfleet is one of two recoms who shot at Neteyam who ended up being fatally wounded.Later on the SeaDragon, Jake fought Recom Wainfleet while trying to rescue Kiri and Tuktirey. Jake managed to throw him off the side of the SeaDragon, and he is sitting hitting part of the ship and falling underwater. Recom Wainfleet mysteriously disappeared for the rest of the ship's sinking. He is the only confirmed member of Recom Quaritch's squad to survive after all the battles. Dialogue example: "Colonel, check it out. Four fingers... we got a half-breed." Zdinarsik: She is also called Z-dog. She is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. She is a recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. She has her hair in a short mohawk and she has many colorful tattoos covering both sleeves. Her main characteristic is that she is chewing pink bubblegum. Her vest features a small patch depicting the flag of pirate captain Calico Jack. Zdinarsik has many colorful tattoos on her arms, neck, and chest. They include a chimera on her neck.An eagle on her back with the Latin motto "AUT VINCERE AUT MORI" which means "conquer or die". It also has the number 33 which is known as an "angel number" that calls for people to cleanse their life and mind of negativity. Her right arm has a skeleton reaper on the bottom and an angel on the top. Her left arm has a snake wrapped around a skull with "DEATHLESS" on it. The bottom portion is the most difficult to interpret as it looks very Hindu in nature with many strange symbols. Zdinarsik is a tough woman, managing to be one of the last Recoms to survive. When Quaritch was panicked about waking up in a Recom body, she also had the bravery to try to restrain him physically, despite that she could be attacked in the process. she can be cruel and callous, suggesting she has a lack of empathy. She does not protest when one of her team members kills an ilu, nor does she protest when Quaritch threatens to kill the Ta'unui Tsahรฌk. When the villagers are understandably panicked, she uses her electro prod on one of them merely for trying to get a better look at what's happening, despite that there was no indication he would rush over to the Tsahรฌk. After, she blows her bubblegum and does not protest when the village is burned either. Zdinarsik has a short temper, telling Tuk to "shut your mouth, shut up, quiet!" when she is pinned down on the deck, potentially hinting she has not fond of Na'vi, children, or both. She can be seen picking up a panicked Tuk into the air when it is not necessary, causing Tuk to scream, implying she is not good around children. She also seems to have a habit of chewing gum. Zdinarsik was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Assault on the Tree of Souls she was killed in action. Two hours prior to her death, Zdinarsik had her memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Zdinarsik's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. When Quaritch was revived as a Recom and attacked everyone, Zdinarsik tried to restrain him, telling him to calm down. She assisted Quaritch during his mission to find and kill Jake Sully. When she flew with the team to the Hallelujah Mountains, she was visibly impressed by the beautiful scenery. She helped the group hold the Sully children hostage and managed to survive Jake and Neytiri's assault. She held Tuktirey hostage at night, but Tuk bit her arm to escape. During the violent interrogation of the Ta'unui clan, she used an electro prod to keep them in check. During the skirmish at the Three Brothers Zdinarsik noticed Jake Sully who had boarded the SeaDragon in order to save Kiri and Tuk kill Prager and other RDA soldiers and shot at him furiously but was unable to even hit Jake. She was later wounded and killed once again by a furious Neytiri who shot her in the side and then in the head with her arrows during the battle on the SeaDragon. Zdinarsik's gun still manages to fire a few shots after, although it is unclear if this was a death reflex or a sign she wanted to take Neytiri down with her. Dialogue example: "Get down! You too! You see this? Thia is a stun prod!" Mansk: He is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He is a Recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. He has board soldiers, carries heavy equipment and wears sunglasses. His hair is shaved short. He has a neck tattoo. Mansk's signature weapon is the Recom Hydra Machine Gun. He later switched to the Recom M-69 AR with an underslung grenade launcher after he tamed a banshee. This is probably because the Hydra is too heavy and not practical for banshee riding. His ikran is cyan. Mansk was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Assault on the Tree of Souls he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Mansk had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Mansk's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. Mansk's recombinant is seen being decanted aboard the ISV Vindicator. Not long later, Mansk as well as the other recoms are briefed by Recom Quaritch about their situation, receiving their first order which is to hunt down Jake Sully. During the skirmish at the Three Brothers, Mansk was positioned near Recom Wainfleet on the lower deck of the SeaDragon when Jake and Neytiri attempted their rescue of Tuktirey and Kiri; he was last fully seen getting a SecOps trooper thrown at him by Jake. Jake realizes he has no bullets, so he attacks Mansk by bashing him with his gun, knocking him unconscious. Jake then uses the unconscious Mansk's gun to shoot some oncoming soldiers. After the soldiers are dead, Jake drops Mansk to the deck. Part of Mansk's body can then briefly be seen falling from Jake right before Jake throws his empty weapon at an approaching SecOps trooper, implying the body was enough force to make Mansk lose consciousness. Prager: Prager is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He is a recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. His hair is cut short and he wears a headband. He wears a short sleeved wetsuit shirt. Prager was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Assault on the Tree of Souls he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Prager had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Prager's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. While Spider is traching the recoms, in an attmpt to stall, he runs thtough the forest as the Recoms are running through the forest with Spider leading the way. A branch holds Spider's weight but when Prager jumps on it, he almost falls all the way down. He is assisted back up and he tries to swing across vines like Spider, but falls down again due to his body weight. Quaritch orders Prager to get his ass back up. He actively assisted Quaritch during his mission to find and kill Jake Sully, and seemed to work most closely with Recom Wainfleet and Zdinarsik, as they interrogate the Ta'unui clan leaders. Prager complied with Quaritch's order to burn down the village and he used his FT-M3A1 Flamethrower to torch a marui. He helped pin down Lo'ak on the SeaDragon, ordering him to stop resisting. When Lo'ak was being cuffed to the rail, Prager told Lo'ak to get on his knees. Prager and Zdinarsik tried to save some injured SecOps soldiers who were hurt in a powerful explosion caused by Jake. Prager was later killed once again by a furious Jake who ran a Metkayina spear through his chest and pinned his corpse to the deck of the SeaDragon, while also taking his gun. Lopez: he is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He is a recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. Lopez has many dark tattoos on his arms, neck and his chest. His torso reads "SEPULTURERO" which means "gravedigger" in Spanish. He even has his military suit decorated with a small pirate flag symbol of the pirate captain Calico Jack on its chest. His ikran is yellow and purple. Lopez was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Assault on the Tree of Souls he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Lopez had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Lopez's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. Like the other members of the team, Lopez had been brought back to life as a Recombinant after the death of his human body during the first war with the Na'vi. He was killed once again in the Skirmish at the Three Brothers when Neytiri shot him down from his banshee, hitting him in the chest with one of her arrows sending his body down into the sea. Lopez is the seventh Recom to die. Ja: he is also known as Alexander. He is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He is a Recombinant member of the first Recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. He is wearing a cap and has a bright smile. Ja was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Battle of Ayram Alusรฌng he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Ja had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Ja's Recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. He assisted Quaritch during his mission to find and kill Jake Sully, kidnapping several of the Sully children, as well as Spider. He survived the initial onslaught in the forest by Jake, Neytiri and Neteyam. During the skirmish at the Three Brothers, Ja was later killed when Payakan breached onto the SeaDragon and crushed him, along with several other personnel and vehicles. Lo'ak took the opportunity to take Ja's assault rifle. Zhang: He is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He was a recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. He wears sunglasses and his hair is fullt shaved on the front half and shaved short on the back half. He has a tattoo on his left forearm. Zhang was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Assault on the Tree of Souls he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Zhang had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Zhang's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. Recom Zhang for awakening Miles Quaritch onboard the ISV Vindicator, alongside Lyle Wainfleet, Sean Fike and Zdinarsik, who were presumably the first recons awakened. He, Fike and Zdinarsik had to restrain their commander, who was disoriented and aggressive from the process, while Wainfleet had to explain the situation. When the Recom squad tried to capture the Sully children and was ambushed by Jake, Neytiri and Neteyam, Zhang attempted to restrain Lo'ak. Lo'ak viciously bit Zhang's arm in order to be freed. Zhang then tried to kill Neytiri but was shot in the back by Neteyam with an arrow. Zhang is the fifth Recom and last to die during the ambush. Brown: He is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He was a recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. He has an eagle tattoo on his right bicep and he is the shortest male Recom. He wears an arm sleeve on hia right arm and he qears a cap backwards. Brown was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Assault on the Tree of Souls he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Brown had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Brown's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. Brown is seen fistbumping Prager, suggesting the two were somewhat close. The Recom squad tried to capture the Sully children and was ambushed by Jake, Neytiri and Neteyam. Brown didn't survive the ambush, as he was caught off guard by Jake and hacked in the collarbone with a tomahawk before being stabbed in the chest with a combat knife. He is the fourth Recom to die in the ambush. Walker: She is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. She was a recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. She has neck-long hair braided tightly on her head. She wears a sport bra instead of a shirt. Hee full name is Maria Walker. She is the shortest and smallest recom though she is very tough and fierce. She wields the Y70 Bullpup Rifle customized with a grenade launcher, and the Z-33 Pistol. She can be seen curling a dumbbell during Quaritch's speech. When Quaritch is watching the video of his human self, a woman can be seen with an outfit resembling Walker's. She also has no tattoos, unlike Zdinarsik, suggesting it very well could be Walker as a human. She is also seen touching Lyle Wainfleet, suggesting they could be a couple or close friends. Walker was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Battle of Ayram Alusรฌng, she was killed in action. Two hours prior to her death, Walker had her memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Walker's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. When the Recom squad tried to capture the Sully children and was ambushed by Jake and Neytiri, Walker tried to stop Kiri from escaping by grabbing her queue before she was attacked and shot in the chest by Neytiri with an arrow, killing her once again. Quaritch then took Walker's gun for himself in order to fight the Sully family. Walker was the third member in the group to be killed again. Recombinant Sean M. Fike: he is a hybrid clone of Private Sean Fike; one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He was a recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. His hair is cut short and he has a xouple of tattoos, j cluding a foreaem tattoo, a spiked femce tattoo on hia neck, a panther behind his ear and also onw at each of his calves. One of his tattoos is a cowgirl riding a direhorse. His blood type is O negative. It is quite ironic that both human Fike and Recom Fike died around the same area, in a forest where the Pandoran War was fought. He was also killed by a Na'vi who participated in the war. Fike was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Assault on the Tree of Souls he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Fike had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Fike's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. While aboard the ISV Vindicator, Recom Quaritch upon first waking began panicking due to being surrounded by what seemed to be Na'vi. Recom Fike, along with Recom Wainfleet, Recom Zdinarsik, and Recom Zhang, initially struggled but eventually restrained the colonel so he could calm down. The first recom squad's first mission was to hunt down Jake Sully. The squad are dropped off by two Samsons in the forest in an area called the Old Battlefield. While there, the recoms come across the three of the Sully kids plus Spider. He and the other recoms hold the kids hostage as they wait for evac, with Recom Fike securing Kiri and Spider. After aggressively ordering Kiri to "shut up" for verbally praying to Eywa, he inadvertently created a clean shot for Neytiri, who was stalking him nearby. She shot Recom Fike in his right eye with an arrow, killing him a second time; making Recom Fike the second member in the squad to be killed again. Warren: He is one of a dozen resurrected SecOps soldiers as part of Project Phoenix. He was a Recombinant member of the first recom squad under the command of Recom Quaritch. He is the second oldest of the recoms after Quaritch. Warren was once a human SecOps operative serving under Colonel Miles Quaritch in 2154. At some point during the Assault on the Tree of Souls he was killed in action. Two hours prior to his death, Warren had his memories uploaded onto a Soul Drive, which was then sent back to Earth during the expulsion of the Resources Development Administration from Pandora. This copied consciousness was then downloaded into Warren's recombinant in 2170 aboard the ISV Vindicator. The Recom squad tried to capture the Sully children and was ambushed by the Omatikaya clan. Warren was the first of the Recoms to die, as he was caught off guard by Jake and killed with a tomahawk spike.
