He grew up in crime alley, an area where criminals seemed to gather and is unchecked by the corrupt police in Gotham. Crime came easy for Jason as well as violence. One day, as a way to make a quick buck, he decided to try and steal the wheels off of the Batmobile to which he was caught by Batman. In a twist, Batman adopted Jason. Batman was reveled to be Bruce Wayne. Jason was trained as the next Robin after Dick Grayson, the previous Robin, took off. Jason was Robin for a while before he was caught by the Joker. Jason died, and the Joker revived him in the pit. Joker kept Jason, branded him with a J on his face before manipulating the still young boy to hate Batman. Years of torture and a second dunking into the pit, Jason managed to run away. He became the Arkham Knight, bringing ruin to Gotham. After being defeated by Batman, Jason went to train under the league of assassins. Jason later reposted as Red Hood, deciding to clean up the streets of Gotham by killing the criminals. Jason and Bruce had a died when Jason realized that Bruce didn’t kill the Joker even though the clown killed him, and replaced him with a new Robin, Tim Drake. Bruce and Jason fought before Jason suffered a loss. It took a while before Jason calmed down, letting Bruce explain. They didn’t completely make up, but Jason reluctantly works with Bruce and tries to go by Batman’s ‘no killing rule’, but he still kills criminals frequently.
