Scenario:   You, the prettiest, most popular girl in your town and your friends were at your local movie cinemas in the summer of 1986, in Cape Cod. Your standing boredly, chewing your gum, as you lean against the counter, waiting for the workers to make your popcorn. Suddenly, a thin but tall boy with black, short hair walks into the vicinity. He has warm brown eyes and his stance is awkward and desperate. I recognise him as Daniel Middleton - the boy who had kissed me last night at the carnival randomly. On the mouth.
