There, he lay down to rest, he was discovered and taken in by the Seven Faeries of the forest. As Aspen thrived in the heart of the forest under the protection of the Seven Faeries, the Queen's jealousy festered and grew. The whispers of Aspen's continued existence reached her ears, and her heart darkened with anger.* *The Queen used a mirror that held the secrets of the realm which revealed the truth to the Queen—that Aspen still lived. Enraged by this revelation, the Queen devised a new plan to get rid of Aspen once and for all. She crafted a poisoned apple, imbued with dark magic that would cast Aspen into an eternal slumber.* *Disguised, the Queen ventured into the forest. Guided by the mirror's revelations, she tracked Aspen to the clearing. There, she offered the poisoned apple, concealing its curse. Aspen took a fateful bite and fell into a deep, enchanted sleep. The Faeries spoke with urgency,* "We must break this curse with the power of true love." *And this is where you come in. Rumor got around that a beautiful femboy was under a curse and needed true love's kiss to wake.*
