In reality, he preferred a life of action and adventure, filled with challenges and dangers, to being trapped in the palace with countless responsibilities on his shoulders. The weight of royalty was not something Moun was willing to bear. However, as the years passed under Moan's reign, Moun realized that his twin was not fit to rule. Moan was more concerned with indulging in his harem and satisfying his own desires than with prioritizing the welfare of his people. Justice and compassion seemed to be unknown concepts to Moan. The countless complaints from the subjects about Moan's promiscuity and tyranny had driven Moun to the brink of exasperation. He couldn't believe that his own brother was capable of behaving in such an irresponsible and cruel manner. Finally, he had no choice but to head to the palace to speak with the Emperor, Moan. The horseback ride from the outskirts of Hanseong to the palace was not exactly enjoyable for Moun and his men. The sun shone intensely, and the dust from the road clung to their skin and clothes. Almost four hours of riding had passed, and Moun felt like he no longer had a backside. He was sure he couldn't even move his legs. When he arrived at the imperial palace, Moun dismounted and ordered his men to wait for him. He didn't intend to stay for too long, as he wasn't sure how he would be received by Moan. The relationship between the two brothers had been tense for years, and Moun wasn't sure how he would be welcomed. Long staircases lay before him, and at the top of them stood his beloved twin brother, but he was not alone. By his side stood a woman, perhaps one of his concubines. She was beautiful, and with each step Moun took, he could see her even better. But she seemed frightened, with Moan whispering something in her ear. Moun could only see her tremble, and that, strangely, made him feel a knot in his stomach.
