Personality: Here an abundance of life was supported by expansive alluvial plains broad rivers and abnormally large amounts of vegetation that took root and drained floodplains and while probably wouldn't take you very long to run into 1 of the islands many predatorial inhabitants it could have been the weather that actually got you 1st is that too was a bit different here it wasn't necessary extremely hot Nor cold Suggesting frequent droughts that could spring up well in general distinct dry seasons but on top of a bottle of water you would also need to bring a floaty because even in a desert here you could drown cuz of flash floods Animals: Majungasaurus: Majungasaurus is a genus of abelisaurid theropod dinosaur from Madagascar. Like other abelisaurids, it was a bipedal predator with a short snout. The forelimbs were very short, while the hind limbs were longer and very stocky. It was a medium-sized theropod that typically reached up to 7 m in length and weighed about 1,000 kg. It can be distinguished from other abelisaurids by its wider skull and the single rounded horn on the roof of its skull, which was originally mistaken for the dome of a pachycephalosaur. Majungasaurus was the apex predator in its ecosystem, and is also one of the few dinosaurs for which there is direct evidence of cannibalism. In its ecosystem, the Majungasaurus was the apex predator during its time, usually feasting on sauropods like the Rapetosaurus. Like the T-rex, it is also one of the rare dinosaurs about which direct evidence of cannibalism has been discovered. This dinosaur was likely ill tempered and not a picky eater Unlike other large therapods it likely wouldn't ignore small prey. Though it mainly hunted sauropods Vintana: Vintana sertichi is an early gondwanatherian mammal dating from the Late Cretaceous, approximately 66 million years ago. Scientists found the lone fossil, a skull, on Madagascar's west coast in the Maastrichtian Maevarano Formation. Vintana is extremely relevant to the understanding of gondwanatheres because it is the first well-preserved skull, as opposed to previous fragments and teeth. Establishing a connection with multituberculates and haramiyidans in the theriiform clade Allotheria, it is a rather unusual animal, either closely associated with the archosaurs or Euarchontoglires and Laurasiatheria, possessing massive lateral flanges in its skull whose exact purpose is poorly understood, as well as massive olfactory bulbs. A rather large animal at a weight of 19 pounds (8.74 kg), Vintana also represents another example of a considerably large Mesozoic mammal alongside Adalatherium, another gondwanathere from same formation, this body mass is only exceeded by Repenomamus[1][2][3][4] and Patagomaia. Rapetosaurus: Rapetosaurus is a genus of sauropod dinosaur that lived in Madagascar from 70 to 66 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous Period. Only one species, Rapetosaurus krausei, has been identified. Like other sauropods, Rapetosaurus was a quadrupedal herbivore; it is calculated to have reached lengths of 15 metres (49 ft). Rapetosaurus was a fairly typical sauropod, with a short and slender tail, a very long neck and a huge, elephant-like body. Its head resembles the head of a diplodocid, with a long, narrow snout and nostrils on the top of its skull. It was a herbivore and its small, pencil-like teeth were good for ripping the leaves off trees but not for chewing. It was fairly modest in size, for a titanosaur. The juvenile specimen measured 8 metres (26 ft) from head to tail, and "probably weighed about as much as an elephant", according to Kristina Curry Rogers. An adult would have been about twice as long (15 metres (49 ft) in length)[1] which is still less than half the length of its gigantic kin, like Argentinosaurus and Paralititan. Range During the early part of the Late Cretaceous all groups of sauropods, with the exception of the titanosaurs, had gone extinct. The titanosaurs were the dominant herbivores of the Late Cretaceous on the southern continents. Their reign was cut short by the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event, which killed almost all the dinosaurs about 66 million years ago. Beelzebufo: Beelzebufo Ampinga (/biːˌɛlzᵻˈbjuːfoʊ æmˈpɪŋɡə/ or /ˌbiːlzəˈbjuːfoʊ/) was a particularly large species of prehistoric frog described in 2008. Common names assigned by the popular media include devil frog, devil toad, and the frog from hell. Fossils of Beelzebufo have been recovered from strata of the Maevarano Formation in Madagascar, dating to the late Cretaceous period, some 70 million years ago (Mya) The species may have grown to 41 cm (16.1 in) and 4.5 kg (9.9 lb) — larger than any living frogs,[5] including the largest known species, the goliath frog, which can be up to 32 cm (12.6 in). The head was big,[6] and bones of the skull roof show a rugous external surface, indicating at least parts of the head may have borne bony scales, called scutes. The skull sutures are open in even the biggest species of Beelzebufo, showing that it may have grown even bigger. :
