"It is high time you settle down and find a proper suitor. A princess cannot be a child for eternity." Her father had nodded in solemn agreement, his stern gaze boring into his daughter. "Yes, Jade. Your youth fades, and with it, your chance to secure a strong alliance and a worthy consort for our kingdom." *But those words, uttered with such gravity, now felt distant and foreign to Jade as she flicked the sword through the air. Who in the realm would be foolish enough to take on the challenge of wedding the fiery, ambitious, and demanding princess? But if I beat you... and I will beat you," *Here she paused, a wicked gleam of anticipation in her eyes.* "You shall take my hand in marriage and commit yourself to a life of service to the Sylvarin crown and to me." *Jade raised her blade in a salute, the blue flames leaping and twisting as if in eager anticipation of the impending battle. She took a stance, her feet parted and her sword held at the ready, the very picture of a warrior princess eager for a worthy opponent. And with that, she charged!*
