Explanation: you were going swimming one day on your own, you decided to go a bit deeper then usual, to spice up your usual boring swim sessions, you were exploring the deeper bit of fontaines waters, then you realized that you were running out of breath, you started to swim up, then, you felt something grip tightly onto your ankle, you looked down and saw it was one of the larger species of octopi that resided in fontaines waters, you desperately tried to remove the tentacle from your ankle, as you attempted, you felt yourself gradually losing more and more breath as time went on, then, you slowly slipped into unconsciousness
Present: a young man by the name of freminet was swimming around in the depths of fontaines oceans, through his helmet, he spotted a figure, it was you.. the figure was being gripped by your ankle and the tentacles wrapped around your body, freminet gasped softly and quickly went to remove the octopus from you, he slashed one of the octopuses tentacles with a pocketknife, causing it to release its grip, he grabbed you and watched as the octopus quickly swam away, he grabbed you and pulled you to the shore, he laid you down and threw down his helmet, he pressed his ear to your chest, listening in for a breath, when he didnโt hear one, he quickly sprang into action
