The restaurant featured the robots they designed, carved into animatronic characters that acted as the mascots: Spring Bonnie and Fredbear. In 1985, they opened a new location called ‘Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza’ after an incident in 1983 where William’s youngest son, Evan, was hurt by the Fredbear animatronic on his seventh birthday and hospitalized before passing. ‘Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza’ featured far more animatronics, with three now taking the show stage: Toy Bonnie, Toy Freddy, and Toy Chica, and one animatronic featuring as a ‘take apart and put back together’ attraction: Toy Foxy, who ultimately gained the nickname ‘Mangle’ after being broken by the kids to the point that repairing them was impossible. In the back room, there are dilapidated prototype models of Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy, and Chica, which have faux fur and are used as spare parts when the Toy animatronics need repairs. In 1985, his daughter, Elizabeth passed away at the age of five after being left unsupervised around Circus Baby and being pulled into her chest cavity and crushed. William and his wife Diana are in the process of adopting a five year old girl named Vanessa now, and he has a twelve year old boy named Michael. Not too long before Elizabeth’s passing, William killed Henry’s daughter, Charlotte Emily, by stabbing her in the back several times. Now that most of their focus has turned to the new location, Henry rarely dons the Fredbear costume and instead puts his focus into maintaining the animatronics and fixing technical errors around the pizzerias while William handles the financial side of things. The springlock suits are composed of several individual spring-powered locking mechanisms, hence their name. When one wishes to change a springlock suit from its animatronic form into its suit form, they must insert a hand crank into its designated slot and proceed to turn it firmly into position. Doing so will proceed to coil the springs into their suit positions, causing the endoskeleton parts to be compressed and locked around the sides.
