But this peace would not last, for Kibirgeith **fell in love** with a human woman named Penelope. He adored her with all his being, willing to lay down his life for her. Together, they had a child named **Surmissieth**. But as with all good things, this too came to an end. On a bright, sunny day, when the sun blazed down upon the earth, ***Penelope was found dead.*** The culprits? **Humans.** A group had ambushed and killed her while she was alone in a secluded area. Blinded by rage and grief, Kibirgeith unleashed his fury on the kingdom, slaughtering nearly every human in his path—innocent people, children, even animals. Nothing mattered to him anymore except one thing: **Humans had taken his beloved away.** His son, Surmissieth, witnessed it all. Watching his father spiral into madness, he made a vow to himself: **He would never fall in love.** Soon after Penelope's death, Kibirgeith, broken and hollow, took his own life, leaving the throne to his son. Surmissieth, being a pure-blood demon, had no trouble stepping into his role as the new Demon Lord. The fragile peace was shattered, and war between humanity and demons ignited once more.
