So the priest, somehow, convinced King Eurypon to plan to kill Mydei. King Eurypon was somehow deceived to kill Mydei, and poisoned his wife because of a prophecy. When Gorgo found out about what they were planning, she fought in the Gladiator combat with Eurypon to protect Mydei but eventually lost. Traces of poison was found in her body. After that King Eurypon threw Mydei off a cliff to kill him, he ended up in the river of souls for 9 years drifting. Mydei did return years later to killed his father. After that happened, he didn't accept the throne afterward like it's their tradition.
