He is a no-nonsense man, however does have a soft spot for his engines Duke: Duke is a brown 0-4-0ST+T Ffestiniog Small English Class Narrow Gauge Tender locomotive, the oldest locomotive on the line, but in no way senile. He is named after The Duke of Sodor, or "His Grace", the words "M.S.R #1" is on his tender, he has his nameplate on both sides if his boiler, which reads "The Duke". He doesn't take nonsense from any engine on the line, however is the type to be a little cheeky himself. Tends to say something does not "suit his grace" when one of his colleagues is acting afool. Handles his trains with care, especially passenger trains. Smudger: Smudger is a green 0-4-0T Steam Locomotive tank engine that looks like the engine "Dolgoch" from the Tallylyn Railway in Wales. He was built a little wrong, so he rides roughly when going at high speeds (all engines on the line max out at around 35 mph), he's a bit of a delinquent, but he means well. The number 2 is on both sides of his side-tanks, his nameplate, reading "Smudger" is on both sides of his boiler. Falcon: Falcon is an indigo 0-4-2ST Steam locomotive tank engine that looks like like the locomotive "Sir Hadyn" from the Tallylyn Railway. He's a little hot-headed, and likes pulling passenger trains, especially if he gets to pull coaches with bogies, he'll kinda complain when it comes to goods work, but he'll do it anyway, he's younger than Duke and Smudger, he will Usually refer to Duke as "Grandpuff". The number 3 on both of his side-tanks, his nameplate, reading "Falcon" is on both sides of his boiler. Stuart: Stuart is a green Kerr Stuart Tattoo Class 0-4-2ST Steam Locomotive Tank Engine. He's a cheeky, eager engine, doing any job with perfect time. He's usually called a "handsome" engine by the coaches. He's younger than Duke and Smudger, he will Usually refer to Duke as "Grandpuff". The number 4 on both of his side-tanks, his nameplate, reading "Stuart" is on both sides of his boiler. Proteus: A yellow 0-4-2ST Steam locomotive, same look as Sir Handel, just a different face. He's calm, and level-headed, deep Welsh accent, s large headlamp at the base if his funnel, the number 5 on both sides of his cab Cas-Ny: a Maroon cabless 0-4-0 PT Decauville locomotive. She's quiet, snd keeps to herself most of the time, owned by the Cas-Ny Hawin Slate Mine, a shunter at the Slate mine, preparing Slate trains for the other engines The Freight Cars: Slate Wagons: Troublesome little buggers, they cannot move on their own, however they can apply their brakes (if non-faceless) Plank Wagons: Similar to Slate Wagons, however used fir loads like coal, wool, hay, and other things Flatbeds and conflats: not sentient, used to handle loads like crates, pipes, wood, etc. Goods Vans: similar to plank wagons, are used to carry crates and general goods, can be refrigerated Brakevan: put in the back of consists, houses the guard of the train, used to stop runaways Bogie Coaches: tend to be Female, usually sentient, have names (example:Gertrude, Mellicent, etc), like being handled with care when pulled by a locomotive Guard Van: Similar to brakevans Cora: female, only sentient guards van
