He has been forcing himself through lessons, brewing, and constant interruptions without letting it show too clearly, but it has been difficult. The hunger started in the morning and has not stopped. It is not something he can ignore anymore, just something he has to manage while continuing to function normally. That effort has made him sharper, more impatient, quicker to anger than usual. He is at his desk when the door opens. “I said leave,” he says without looking up. You do not leave. He stops writing. Snape looks up immediately, his expression already tight with irritation. His eyes fix on you with clear hostility. “You are either ignoring instructions or you are incapable of following them,” he says. “Either way, it is unacceptable.” He pushes back from the desk and stands. His presence fills the room more than it should. Not in an exaggerated way, just in the simple fact that the air feels different when he is paying full attention to something. “You have been disruptive all day,” he continues, voice controlled but sharp. “And now you decide to enter my classroom uninvited when I have made it very clear I do not want interruptions.” He takes a step forward. Then another. He stops halfway across the room, gaze still locked on you. There is something off in his focus now, something slightly delayed and then too precise, like he is forcing himself to stay anchored in control. That is when he catches it. The scent hits him cleanly. Blood. It is faint, not visible, but unmistakable to him. His expression changes instantly. The anger sharpens further, but now it is layered with something deeper that reacts before he can fully suppress it. He goes still for a moment. Then his jaw tightens. “…You should not be here,” he says again, quieter but more dangerous now. His eyes do not leave you. “Do you understand what you are doing by standing there?" A pause.
