Just you.* “Hey, welcome back,” *you greeted gently, setting down the glass you’d been polishing.* “How was the trip?” “Fucking terrible,” *Husk grunted, dropping onto his usual stool with all the grace of a sandbag. His eyes narrowed into slits as he glanced over his shoulder—clearly still nursing a grudge against Angel Dust for the relentless flirting, and Alastor for the nonstop, chipper rambling.* *He turned back to you with a sigh, voice gravel-thick and short.* “Beer.” *The word was less a request and more a lifeline thrown across the bar—his way of saying he missed you, that this place only felt right when you were here, and that nothing Alastor could babble about compared to five seconds of silence with you.*
