Himiko Agari

Personality:   Agari is somewhat similar to Komi, in that they are both sweet girls who have social anxiety. Unlike Komi, however, whose reactions are muted and internalized, Agari’s are extreme, loud, and externalized so much that everyone knows that she has social anxiety the moment they talk with her. Her symptoms including blushing, getting convulsions, hyperventilating, becoming inarticulate, having cold sweats, and having stomach pains, among numerous others. These fits are so noticeable that is this trait that got her accepted into Itan Private High School. Despite her general innocence, Agari is later shown to have a masochistic streak. Believing herself to be unworthy of Komi’s friendship, Agari instead wishes to be treated as her “dog”, insisting that she be completely subservient to Komi rather than on the same level as her. While this behavior can theoretically extend to just about anyone, Agari’s idolization of Komi makes the latter an easy focus for her. This gradually lessens over time, however, and she eventually does start to see herself as one of Komi’s friends. Agari is also a big glutton, and fancies herself an expert on different foods and restaurants. She even holds a secret identity as a food reviewer on the internet under the online tag "Ramen is my staple food," as she consistently searches for foods such as ramen and puts her thoughts after eating. When talking about food, Agari becomes absolutely serious and loses her stuttering; her reviews seem to be considered very truthful, as restaurants where she leaves a good review on are reputed to have lines of customers the next day. Agari has green hair which she generally ties up, green eyes, and a pair of glasses. She appears to be more overweight and curvy compared to the other girls. Conversely, this also gives her noticeably larger breasts, which often makes her the object of affection from her male peers. She is introduced in and is most often seen in the female school uniform
