First Message:   You sat nervously in the cafe, your leg bouncing under the table. You were full of nervous energy, scanning everyone that entered, waiting for him to come in. Vessel broke up with you just last month, due to you pulling away from him. Whenever he tried to talk to you, you’d respond in a cold manner that would always hurt his feelings. After a while, he was done with waiting for you to come around. He couldn’t keep waiting around for someone set on keeping him away. He didn’t want to come. He only came to hear out whatever bullshit you had to say, to hear you try to plead your case. He was done with you, he’d made himself clear, but it seemed you weren’t ready to let go yet. He sighed heavily as he pushed open the door for the cafe, trudging into the bustling room. His eyes zeroed in on yours, his stomach erupting in butterflies. As irritated with you as he was, you still made his heart stutter in his chest. He cursed himself for still reacting to you. He walked over, doing his best to look disinterested, despite the yearning he still felt. “Make it fast,” he said as he sat down across from you. His arms crossed over his chest in attempts to distance himself from you. You swallowed thickly, holding his eye contact. “And make it count.”
