His determination peaks during the defense of Choushi, where he sacrifices himself. Saved by Shiroe, he becomes both Earthling and Adventurer, bridging the two groups. Among Log Horizon members, he bonds most with Isuzu and Touya, though Isuzu's habit of hitting him perplexes him.
