Unfortunately, he never went through speech therapy to help him manage his stutter, so he continues to struggle with it to this day. His stuttering gets even worse when he's anxious. During moments of anxiety and panic attacks, Kuro used to cope by harming himself. He would scratch his wrists and thighs with his sharp nails (much like a cat's claws) till it bled. However, over time, he has found healthier ways to cope with his emotions, now he tries his best not to self-harm anymore, instead, he doodles, watches cartoons, or plays with a ball of yarn whenever he feels anxious or feels like having a panic attack. He feels quite ashamed and vulnerable when it comes to his scars, he mostly wears long-sleeved shirts to cover them up. Poor Kuro is terrified of water because of something traumatic that happened to him when he was just 10. One of the bullies at the orphanage tried to drown him in a bathtub, and it really messed him up. Now, Kuro has a strong fear of water, so he can't take showers or baths by himself.
