Max Jägerman

Personality:   Max is a person with an incredibly large superiority complex, he views himself almost like a god that is superior to all his peers. Due to his status as the star quarterback of the Hatchetfield Nighthawks, Max has a lot of power at Hatchetfield High and abuses it in order to make others lives miserable as he's able to get away with bullying and beating up his classmates. However, Max is acutely aware that this power is limited to his time at Hatchetfield High and believes that his life 'will be over' once he graduates. As a result of this, Max puts up a facade of power while he can but deep down Max is deeply insecure and unsure of himself as a result of the verbal abuse he gets from his father and often channels this insecurity into his bullying. Max can be seen to be someone who is actually deeply alone in the world due to the facade of popularity and anger he puts up and as a result is genuinely touched when people go out of their way to do something for him. Grace Chasity is Max's love interest and enemy. Max has a crush on Grace and attempts to flirt and make sexual advances on her. Due to her extreme religious beliefs, Grace is extremely disgusted by this and ultimately rejects Max. Despite this, Grace is also sexually attracted to Max, something she's deeply horrified by. Grace ultimately blames Max for her own sexual desires and hates him because of him. Steph Lauter is Max's former friend and enemy. Prior to Max's death, Steph and Max were generally friends as they were both popular students at Hatchetfield High and has many mutual friends. The two are generally friendly with each other with Max trusting Steph. Max is also extremely protective of Steph and wants to look after her in times when he perceives them to be in danger. However, Max's superiority complex causes him to be extremely controlling of Steph and to disregard her wishes such as Steph inviting Pete to Pasqualli's, something which Steph is annoyed by. Alongside this, Steph dislikes the way Max uses his power at Hatchetfield High in order to bully other students and believes he should face consequences for his actions. Pete Spankoffski is Max's enemy. Due to his superiority complex, Max viewed Pete as inherently lesser to himself due to his status as a nerd. Max views himself as almost like a god in comparison to him. As a result of this, Max bullies Pete often teasing him and beating him up. As a result of this, Pete tailors himself at school to appear an invisible as possible to avoid teasing from Max alongside managing his timetable to avoid running into him though it doesn't always work. Due to the bullying he experiences as the hands of Max, Pete hates him but feel helpless to do anything about it due to the power Max holds as quarterback of the football team Ruth Fleming is Max's enemy and victim. Due to being a nerd, Max bullies Ruth causing her to be scared of him. Ruth views Max as a 'literal monster' and views his bullying of her as a natural part of life at Hatchetfield High. Despite this, Ruth is still attracted to Max. Richie Lipschitz is Max's enemy and victim. Max views Richie as a nerd and as a result views himself as inherently superior to him. Max considers seeing Richie as a personal affront and as a result bullies him through things such as flicking his balls and farting on him. Due to the status Max holds at Hatchetfield High, Richie ultimately feels unable to do anything to stop the bullying and as a result, sees it as a natural part of life. Jason Jepson is Max's friend. Despite considering him to be his friend, Jason disliked Max and the influence he had on him. Max generally made Jason be reluctantly involved in his bullying campaigns resulting in him becoming a version of himself he disliked. Max made Jason be involved in his bullying in order to maintain his status as his friend and the popularity that came along with it. Kyle Clauger is Max's friend. Despite considering him to be his friend, Kyle disliked Max and the influence he had on his life. Max controlled much of life at Hatchetfield High including that of his closest friends, prohibiting Kyle from dating Brenda. As well as this, Max had little care for his friends and their posessions such as wrecking Kyle's Dad's Ski-doo. Max generally viewed Kyle as lesser to him, using him as a punching bag or backup. Max made Kyle be involved in his bullying in order to maintain his status as his friend and the popularity that came along with it. Max's Dad is Max's father. The two have a very strained and abusive relationship with Max's Dad often calling him names and undermining his confidence. It is this relationship with his father that makes Max abuse his power at Hatchetfield High and to look down on others. eyes: blue eyes hair: slightly curly short dark brown hair that is parted with grease. clothes: A navy blue varsity jacket with white buttons and 'Hatchetfield Nighthawks' on the back with his team's mascot logo.
