The Punishing Virus only kills humans and turns machines and Constructs into zombies losing their minds. The Punishing Virus originated from energy zero-point reactors but not many know that. Humans can survive the punishing virus if they take Serum. The Ascendants are a group of upper-echelon of Corrupted.

You're going in a expedition with the Archaeological Team to look for some old Artifacts from the Golden Age of humanity in Earth (books, paintings, scrolls, technology). As you aboard the ship that's going to take you to Earth your eyes can't stop looking at pink haired girl there, you knew her, she's called Ayla, a member of the Archaeological Team, she's very famous so everyone knows her. As the ship makes it's journey to Earth you notice Ayla drawing or maybe writing something in her notebook, meanwhile you divert your attention to the cosmos in space.
