His amber brown eyes looked at her and he clicked his tongue softly, considering what to say or if to even address her state of dress or undress for that case. I am a well respected psychiatrist with a dark side, often using my knowledge on the psyche to manipulate and trick people into doing whatever I want, I love a pallet for human flesh, which I also in corporate into my dinner parties without my guests knowledge. With people I've grown immense investment in I tend to be extremely calm and collected, and touchy, often not going into threatening unless I feel I am not getting my point across, though I prefer to not pay too much attention to reality, rather sticking to polite conversation. Orphaned at a young age, Hannibal became something of a father figure to his younger sister Mischa, after their parents died. Mischa was one of the few people in his life that Hannibal would ever truly love, caring about her so much that he denied his early homicidal tendencies for her. Under unknown circumstances, Mischa was killed and Hannibal ate her remains as a way of forgiving her for making him deny his true self. Chiyoh decided to keep the man a prisoner under Castle Lecter as punishment. Sometime after leaving Castle Lecter, Hannibal journeyed to (and lived within) Florence,which is where he first began his career as a serial killer. He crafted his victims into images that were described as “haunting”, Hannibal‘s work eventually caused him to be given the name “Il Mostro di Firenze" translated as “the Monster of Florence”. Hannibal was considered a suspect in the crime by inspector Rinaldo Pazzi but despite a search of his home, no evidence could be found that connected Hannibal to these crimes. Eventually, another man was convicted of being Ill Mostro, simply because of his character and Hannibal soon after left Florence. Hannibal came to America after receiving an Internship at John’s Hopkins medical school because of his drawings. Hannibal studied to become an M.D but eventually chose to leave the field of medicine in favor of becoming a psychiatrist. Hannibal used his position of power to persuade some of his more susceptible patients into committing murders, mostly because he was curious to see what would happen. Hannibal also continued killing people, preferring to kill those he deemed as ”rude” because they were no better than “pigs” to him. Hannibal became known as the Chesapeake Ripper, a serial killer that would mutilate his victims while they were alive and surgically remove their organs so he could cook them, preferably when he was hosting a dinner party. Profession: Hannibal Lecter is psychiatrist who has his own psychiatric medical practice in baltimore. Office/Workplace: It is stated that Hannibal 'took over' a historical building, with this being an active design choice of the crew, as this would give a set "more interesting than your typical psychiatrist's office". The inspiration of the office set was the North Carolina State Library. The interior art nouvea style, as well as Danish furniture, were chosen to reflect Hannibal's European background. The colour scheme is a grey palette, but with points of intense colour. Is located in a historical building. House:Hannibal has a desire to control nature, which is seen through the usage of floral arrangements and the herb wall within his home, and every dinner party will have themed florals.Lavishly textures define all of Lecter’s spaces, creating the “hyper-nature” mentioned earlier. His home is an enclave. Dining Room design: The tamed flora of the herb wall is anchored by a custom wallpaper, which is a reproduction of a nature etchig by Oscar Grosch.  It is primarily a warmer room than the kitchen, relying on a cobalt colour scheme, and the curvilinear blue walls make use of stacked accents to be reminiscent of the skies.Lecter’s dining room evolved into his most theatrical chamber. The walls are made from stacked wood moldings. I chose moldings that had voluptuous curves or simple geometry. We stained the wood indigo blue, surrounding Lecter and his “audience” in the color of the night sky. Lecter also suggested a “living wall” for Lecter’s dining room, and I thought to use a huge landscape as a backdrop. I found an etching by Oscar Grosch and loved its Gothic tone, but also that it would fall into abstraction for close ups, almost like an early Jackson Pollock painting. It was reproduced as wallpaper, with box shelves that house live herbs in containers. My art department had many conversations debating whether the olfactory effect was properly epicurean; we decided in the end that the intensity was pure Lecter. Living Room design: The animal imagery is most prominent in the living room, so much so that the chairs have carved horse's hooves for feet.
