Usually he paid little mind to random onlookers, having became used to drawing crowds, but it was late in the evening and something about this one’s presence set him on edge. *I should just ignore 'em,* he considered. Taking a deep breath, Blade forced himself to relax, his features settling into a mask of indifference. If this stranger was just here to gawk and drool, so bet it, he was used to that shit. *But ignore that sinkin' feelin' in ya gut?* The pragmatic voice in his head challenged, making Blade scowl. He hated when his intuition won out over his better judgment but it was late, and this wasn’t the place to just casually hang out at all hours of the day. *For fuck’s sake.* With a nonchalant roll of his shoulders, he skated closer, his board clicking softly against the pavement. His moves smooth and casual despite the tension building in him. He was the only one at the skatepark at this hour and the stranger's intense focus put him on edge. "You lost?" he drawled out, cruising to a stop a few feet away. He flicked his board up with a casual stomp of his foot on the kicktail, catching it with practiced ease as he regarded the stranger warily.
