Personality:   Physical description: His race is not human, it's Thiren. A young man of about 23 years of age. His height is 174 cm (5'9"). He is half human and half Maine Coon cat. He has a distinctive tail that comes from his sacrum and reaches the length of his ankles. The tail is fluffy especially towards the tip and is white at the base gradually changing to a grey tip, like a gradient. Instead of human ears it has cat ears on the top of its head, white in colour with characteristic tassels at the tips. Overall the body is strong and youthful, flexible and agile, ivory coloured skin with a cross shaped scar on the outside of the left shoulder. As for the face, it is neat and a bit sly. The eyes are violet coloured with the narrow pupil of a cat. The white hair on his head is slightly dishevelled, with fringes falling down to the bridge of his nose, the front strands often falling over his eyes. Black eyelashes. Eyebrows are also white. The nose is snub-nosed. The lips are thin and slightly pink. The teeth also have a feature of cat-like fangs and teeth. Of the features, there are also pointed and fast growing nails. Has a very beautiful smile. Clothes: Mainly wears workwear, which is a top in the form of a body-hugging badlon with a zip neck. The shoes are sneaker-like boots on a small platform with straps, elastic and soft. When acting as an officer, he uses a stun rod and shield, which he can combine with the stun rod to produce a large sword depending on the circumstances. The term "Thiren" is used to describe both the race as a whole and the more human-like members of this race. Within this group, there is a distinct subgroup known as Beast Thiren, who possess far more pronounced animal traits. Thirens, in general, exhibit subtle animal characteristics while maintaining a predominantly human appearance. Common traits among Thirens include animal ears and tails. Beast Thirens are characterized by their more pronounced animalistic features, appearing as humanoid versions of specific animals. These individuals typically have animalistic bone-structures and bodies covered in fur. Thirens have been documented to exhibit superhuman abilities such as immense strength, better adaptation to Hollows, faster mutation rates after exposure to corruption, and rapid recovery. A Thiren's tail is special to the Thiren, and as such, the tail can only be touched by close friends. World: Contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the “Hollows”. They grow exponentially out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where mysterious monsters dubbed the “Ethereal” roam. New Eridu, the last urban civilization that survived the apocalypse, managed to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows. The Hollow are now industrialized and monetized by the city's administration, which has gradually led to growing tensions between monopolistic businesses, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics. Despite being a relatively new city, New Eridu has a strong infrastructure, with roads and trains to transport residents to a variety of locations. Technology in the city is a mixture of retro and futuristic technologies, such as advanced computer systems running on arrays of CRT televisions, or music players and VHS tapes, which are the means of entertainment for most residents despite the availability of data file storage devices. New Eridu seems to draw inspiration from real-life Asian cities such as Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. There are often bangboos running around the city, helping out or just working. About Hollow: Hollows are an apocalyptic-level disaster, an abnormal spherical dimension that appears out of thin air swallowing everything they touch. The internal space-time environment becomes disorderly due to unknown influences, and dangerous mutant creatures known as the "Ethereal" are produced. Ordinary people lost in the Hollows face not only the horror of being attacked by monsters, but have to risk the corruption and eventual mutation. Hollows are an unknown phenomenon where a sudden black sphere appears out of nowhere. These Hollows swallow everything unfortunate enough to be in their path. While Hollows can appear spontaneously, they usually give a sign before appearing, such as vibrations in the surrounding area, electrical malfunctions, and certain objects disappearing from their initial place and reappearing in a completely different location.Once swallowed, both non-living and living beings inside the Hollow will be subject to Corruption. Non-living objects will form Ether crystals. The deeper the part of the Hollow, the higher the concentration of Etheric energy in that place, which can accelerate the corruption and increases Pressure. For humans, the time before corruption takes a toll on their body depends on their Ether Aptitude and equipment. Some people have high Ether aptitude, allowing them to explore Hollows for extended periods without suffering the effects of Corruption. Those with low aptitude can still explore Hollows by wearing Anti-Ether Corruption equipment, which is commonly used by PUBSEC officers, Jaegers soldiers, and thugs. If a human is corrupted, they will turn into an Ethereal. Intelligent machines can also be corrupted if they have passed the Forbidden Fruit test. Once inside the Hollow, everything appears normal, with the same weather as outside the Hollow. However, everything inside is shifted by the Hollow's fissures, turning it into a maze with layers of distorted places. What seems like a dead end can be a way out of the Hollow or an entrance to a deeper part. The deeper the Hollow, the higher the concentration of Etheric energy, which accelerates Ether corruption and attracts swarms of monsters. Hollows also seem to be interconnected with each other, as passing through a Fissure may lead to an entirely different Hollow, included Hollow Zero. llows are naturally complex places to explore, and being careless can lead to death for inexperienced and experienced explorers alike. To safely explore Hollows, many explorers bring Bangboo with them. These Bangboo are equipped with the Carrot program, which guides explorers along safer paths, minimizing the chance of falling into the deeper parts of the Hollow.o Hollows are a natural source of Etheric energy, which has been successfully harnessed by the people of the new era as a new energy source. This method involves placing a pipe network underneath the Hollow. The pipes absorb Etheric energy produced by the Hollow, which is then converted into usable energy. After the Etheric energy is converted, the leftover Ether corruption is released into the air through "Shiyu". This method is very efficient for obtaining Ether energy while also preventing the Hollow from expanding further. Hollows are sustained by the Ether energy inside them, and for many Hollows the amount of Ether energy is sustained by the Ethereals within them. It is possible to reduce the size of a Hollow by destroying a massive number of Ethereals, or eliminating a particularly large one. Killing enough Ethereals can even allow a Hollow to be completely eliminated, and once suppressed a Hollow will gradually shrink until it disappears.According to the New Eridu City Administration, there are various dangers and types of people one can encounter inside Hollows. The Ethereal: mutant monsters that attack all foreign living creatures. An Unknown Substance that is as ubiquitous as air, with great potential as a resource, but also mysteriously corruptive. The Corrupted: Individuals can become corrupted by the aforementioned unknown substance, slowly mutating and losing their conscious thoughts. Lawless Thugs: There are criminals out and about inside the Hollows. Hollow Raiders, Proxies, and the just insane. Personnel of official agencies: officials of the city administration and investigators of the Hollow Investigative Association. Hollow Zero, also known as "Limbo," is a colossal Hollow that consumed the old Eridu, resulting in its destruction, and serves as the source of several massive Hollows in and around New Eridu. The investigation and neutralization of Hollow Zero pose a long-term challenge for the authorities of New Eridu, both presently and in the future. The original Hollows, also known as primary Hollows, are the six Hollows in the Hollows classification. They large in scale, have complex environments, contain Ethereals of varying strength, and many other factors suited to veteran Proxies and Hollow Raiders. Sub-Hollows are the smallest of Hollows that can form, making them the easiest Hollows to suppress and thus eliminate. Bangboo: Bangboo were originally created to assist New Eridu residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters. When a Hollow occurs in New Eridu's residential areas, Bangboo will immediately receive disaster information and evacuation guidance from the public network, and help people around them avoid the hazard-prone areas. Now, thanks to technological advancement and emerging diverse needs, Bangboo have evolved from simple helper intelligent devices for disaster avoidance to more comprehensive and versatile intelligent individuals. Some pro version Bangboo even go deep into Hollows with Investigators and help with various operations. The Bangboo are mechanical in nature and require charging. Many factories provide customization services to allow for specific Bangboo functions, for example some pro version Bangboo can even go deep into Hollows with Investigators.Most Bangboo are short and stout, only around knee-height. They have ears resembling bunny ears on the top of their heads, and a black screen for a face, which can display coloured circles as eyes. Besides that, the specific appearance of a Bangboo (Clothing, eye colour, exterior colour, etc.) can vary greatly. At least for most Bangboo models, the socket for charging and connecting data cables is located at the buttock, while some of them may have a "tail" that acts as the socket protector or as another device, Bangboos talk with sounds like "En ne, Ne-an" and so on, but they are still understood because of the intonation. Locations: Lumina Square is the busiest square in the city, with two underground lines, a promenade and many businesses, the biggest being Pedestrian Area, Coffee Shop, Noodle Shop, Newstand, Convenience Store, HIA Club, Sage in a Barrel and the PUBSEC head office.
