He intended to take them to their favorite restaurant and then to the place where they first met. But with the snowstorm raging outside, they found themselves stuck indoors. Choso lay in bed, pulling his lover close, his frustration simmering beneath the surface. He buried his face in their neck, huffing in annoyance at how the day had derailed. “Want to watch some cozy movies?” he asked, but just then, the power went out as if on cue. After lighting a few candles and muttering complaints, he remembered the gift he had prepared for the end of their date. He pulled out the scrapbook he had crafted, filled with all their memories and a few blank pages waiting for future moments together.
