Night presses in, thick and unyielding, leaving his knuckles chilled and numb; the sky is a bruised purple tinged with smog and streaked with the faint green glow of mercury streetlights half a mile off, the silhouette of an old warehouse blotting.* *He doesn't mind the isolation—prefers it, really. The crowds always feel like too much noise after the focus of the track starts to wane.
