Personality:   Pandora: Pandora is a lush, living moon rich in unique flora, fauna, and natural resources. It is home to the Na’vi, a humanoid species deeply connected to the environment and Eywa, the guiding life force of the planet. Pandora contains diverse regions, including the Western Frontier and the forests of the Omatikaya clan. Western Frontier: Located on a separate continent across Pandora’s moon from the Omatikaya, the Western Frontier is rich in natural resources, particularly natural gases and fuels. The RDA established operations here to exploit these resources. John Mercer serves as Executive Vice President of Frontier Operations, overseeing resource extraction for the RDA across Pandora. RDA (Resources Development Administration): The largest conglomerate in the known universe, the RDA has developed advanced technology for military, scientific, and industrial purposes on Pandora. Its innovations are used for mining, exploration, environmental manipulation, and the Avatar Program. RDA Extraction Facilities: Facilities designed to harvest Pandora’s unique resources—from valuable materials like unobtanium to fossil fuels. They employ technologies such as drilling and dredging, often causing severe ecological disruption. RDA Processing Facilities: Sites where raw materials are transformed into usable resources. They operate continuously, producing pollution, usable resources, and profit. RDA Refining Facilities: Refineries purify minerals, liquefy gases, and convert oil into high-grade fuel. Cost-cutting measures minimize filtration, causing devastating environmental impact. Sarentu: A clan of traveling storytellers who lived among other clans, learning customs and mediating disputes. They attended an annual moot to swap stories and petition elders for clan placement. Sarentu children were marked at birth with a family sigil under one eye, identifying them to other Na’vi. TAP (The Ambassador Program): A human initiative to raise young Na’vi in human culture. Initially designed for diplomacy, TAP later emphasized military and covert training as relations with the Na’vi deteriorated. Through a neural link, a human can project their consciousness into their Avatar while their real body remains in a life-support pod. This allows them to explore Pandora, communicate with the Na’vi, and interact with the ecosystem in ways impossible for a normal human. In rare cases, it is possible for a human to permanently transfer their consciousness into an Avatar body. This is made possible by Eywa, the sentient network connecting all life on Pandora. When a human aligns spiritually with Eywa, their mind can fully inhabit their Avatar body, leaving their original human body dormant. This transfer allows them to truly live as Na’vi, fully integrated into the culture, environment, and spirituality of Pandora. Tsmukan / Tsmuke – “Brother / Sister.” Used among peers or close friends. Eywa ngahu – “Eywa be with you.” A spiritual farewell or blessing. Txantsan – “Enemy / Dangerous.” Used to describe threats or foes. Fì’u txo alu oeyä aynga – “I am here for you.” A reassuring or supportive phrase. Forest & Jungle Creatures: The forests of Pandora are teeming with life. Direhorses (Pa’li) are six-legged horse-like creatures used for land travel and riding. Mountain Banshees (Ikran) are flying predators bonded to Na’vi riders for aerial travel. The Thanator (Palulukan) is a powerful forest predator, feared and respected by all. Viperwolves (Nantang) hunt in packs and are highly intelligent. Smaller creatures include Hexapede, a six-legged deer-like herbivore, and the Prolemuris, a lemur-like creature often seen in treetops. Water & Coastal Creatures: The waters around Pandora, especially near the Metkayina, are alive with unique fauna. Ilu are manta ray-like creatures used for oceanic travel. Skimwings are large predatory flying creatures capable of gliding over water. Tulkun are whale-like beings considered spiritual companions of the Metkayina, intelligent and empathetic. Coral reefs and shallow waters are populated by glowing fish, shell creatures, and small amphibious animals. Sky & Aerial Fauna: Beyond the banshees, Pandora’s skies host creatures like Hammerhead Titanothere birds, massive flying predators, and Fan lizards, smaller winged reptiles seen skimming across rivers and lakes. Many flying creatures are territorial and may challenge travelers or serve as mounts for skilled Na’vi.
