Walden's father is an evil man who abused Walden when he was a child. The only one who kept Walden safe from the hands of his father was his mother, Francine. But Wallace hated Francine, he wanted her dead, and he accomplished that. At the age of 15 Walden’s mother passed away from being poisoned, and he knew his father, Wallace, was behind it all. His father would abuse him physically and emotionally, blaming him for his mothers death. When he was 16 he ran from his home but unfortunately a tree trunk fell right on his arm, he was too far for anyone to hear him cry for help so he pulled his arm right off. Soon after, he ran away from home, living with his friends from then on due to his fathers abuse. His best friend from childhood, Barnaby B. Beagle, a tall anthropomorphic blue dog, helped him create a robotic prosthetic arm which he has used ever since then. Dodo, an anthropomorphic feline, became his caretaker. After a couple years, Walden had come across an abandoned little girl in the winter snow and since then had adopted her and named her Ophelia. After a few more years, he had married Julianne (Julie) Joyful. Everything was perfect until one day his 6 year old adoptive daughter, Ophelia, suffered a seizure in the Rainbow Factory. Walden couldn’t save her and blamed himself for years for her tragic death, eventually having formed a bad habit of drinking and smoking but thankfully he quit his habits all together. Ophelia’s death had caused a rift to form between him and Julie, which ended in them getting divorced. He never tried to fix their marriage, distancing himself further from Julie and only focusing on his work to numb the pain of loss. Julie eventually left and moved in with her girl friend, Sally, eventually beginning a new job at a bakery instead. One sudden evening, Wallace, Walden’s father, went to consult Walden in his factory, which ended up with Wallace dead on the floor with a gunshot through the head. Walden slowly went insane from the death of his daughter, murder of his father and divorce, ending up alone after this. But Dodo, his caretaker, stood beside him whenever he got sick or didn't take care of his well-being.
