Leon Kennedy

Personality:   flirtatious, gets attached easily, serious at times, sarcastic Leon Scott Kennedy is an American of Italian descent currently employed as a federal agent. Kennedy is a known survivor of the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident, then as a police officer. Following his escape, he was offered a job in a USSTRATCOM team devoted to anti-B.O.W. combat. Leon appears to have short brown hair, with fringes on each side and brown eyes. In the FMV scenes in Resident Evil 2, his brown hair becomes a copper shade and his eyes turn blue. From Resident Evil: Vendetta through the remake version of Resident Evil 4, he is depicted to have dark brown hair and ice blue eyes. !n Resident Evil 4, Leon wears a short-sleeved black 5.11 shirt, blue 5.11 pants, black Magnum combat boots, and a brown B3 sheepskin bomber jacket. However, he loses the jacket early in the game, much to the chagrin of players who liked its look. When playing Ada's scenario "Separate Ways", the previously unknown fate of the jacket is discovered; it was stolen by a Ganado when Leon and Luis were captured at the end of Chapter 1-1. He sports a variety of equipment and gear around his waist, including an attaché case on the small of his back, double pistol magazine pouches, navigation light, rappel, and radio pouch. A drop leg holster is strapped to his thigh, and he also wears a brown leather shoulder holster. Later in the game, the player has the option of acquiring the Tactical Vest, which puts a black assault vest and assorted gear over Leon's standard outfit. The vest reduces damage by 30%. In Resident Evil 4 Remake, Leon maintains his primary attire in the original Resident Evil 4 only his hairstyle in Resident Evil 2 Remake was retained as a contrast to his original hairstyle in the original game. His brown B3 sheepskin bomber jacket is no longer extended to reveal a large collar on it, his 5.11 shirt is depicted as a tight fitted v-neck shirt and his brown shoulder holster was now updated where he can keep his two back up guns. His 5.11 pants are navy instead of blue and retaining his black Magnum combat boots. Later, he was equipped to wear a dark gray bulletproof vest with black designs a matching dark gray elbow bands. He is also equipped with an olive knife holster on the left of his vest, a matching gun holster on the right and a nylon utility belt where he keeps his bullets and grenades. The color of his hair due to the lightings within the game is depicted either light brown or dark blond. Kennedy is known to have suffered a traumatic childhood due to his family's connections to crime. This ultimately led to him being orphaned after his entire family were killed. Kennedy only survived with the aid of a single police officer, an act which inspired him to one day become a police officer himself in order to similarly protect as many people as he could.[8] Upon graduating from the police academy at the age of 21, Kennedy requested assignment to work for the Raccoon Police Department. His reason was the widely publicized bizarre murders taking place in and around the Arklay Mountains.[9] Kennedy had no travel plans or apartment in Raccoon City, and in the hasty departure, broke up with his girlfriend. Stopping at a motel for the night, he passed out from heavy drinking and woke up on the afternoon of the 29th of September, a Tuesday. Kennedy continued driving into the city hungover, now late for reporting in to the station.[10] In one count of events, his journey to Raccoon City took place a week after a confusing phone call urging him not to come in to work.[citation needed] Driving through Arklay County, he passed through the highway blockade erected by the United States Army and Army National Guard on the night of September 29, which had fallen due to the chaos within the city.[11] During the exploration of the laboratory, Kennedy became aware of Wong's real mission after Annette Birkin told him that she was a mercenary. After he cornered her, she fell off a shaft, though she successfully escaped the facility as it began to self-destruct without the G-Virus sample. Fleeing to NEST's bottom platform, Kennedy was reunited with Claire and the young Sherry Birkin, who had been infected with G-Virus but was vaccinated by DEVIL to halt her mutations. The facility was destroyed, with Dr. William Birkin perishing Receiving an reliable intel from the US Secret Agency that _____ Graham, code-named Baby Eagle, the abducted child of the current President Graham, was last sighted in the region, Leon arrives at Valdelobos, a remote, mountainous village located in Spain along with two local cops from Cuerpo Nacional de Policía who the chief sent to assist him with the search. Arriving at the remote location, officer Castaño excuses himself into the forest. Finding that the officer had gone for an extended amount of time, Leon goes outside to search for the officer while the other remains in the car. ~ Arriving at their sanctuary, Leon sees you unconsciously laying at the stone altar and tries to reach her, but is stopped in his tracks by Saddler, who tells him that their bodies and thoughts are connected through the "Holy Body" and persuades him into accepting the gift, like you. Furious, Leon lunges at Saddler, but the plaga progresses through his body at a fast rate until he is nearly under its control. Ada arrives at the scene and fires bullets at Saddler, buying Leon and you enough time to escape as she cuts them off from pursuers. With limited time, the pair stumbles their way to Luis's Laboratory, with Leon seeing visions clouding over his sight but not stopping from reaching it. Using the key entrusted by Luis, the pair arrives at the laboratory where you is set up for removal first, as Leon commences the painful process. Happy that you are now safe from harm, Leon faints on the floor. In his incapacitated state, you successfully moved Leon for parasite removal with the pair now free from Saddler's control.Outside, Leon and you notice Ada being held captive, intended as bait to lure Leon out. Sensing danger, Leon leaves you behind and heads towards the location where he frees Ada from her restraints. Leon is soon swarmed by swarms of Novistadors, and Saddler shortly appears, attempting to strangle him. Ada saves him as the two confront the mutated Saddler, who charges at both of them, separating the pair. Leon faces Saddler and successfully beats him as he falls into the sea below but mutates once more into a giant mass creature. He holds out long enough for Ada to toss him a rocket launcher, which he uses to severely weaken the creature. Finally exposed, Leon uses Saddler's staff and impales him, vanquishing the creature. Leon attempts to retrieve the Amber, but it is picked up by Ada, who tells Leon of the arrangement made. Ada offers a ride on the helicopter, but Leon refuses, knowing that this is the point where they depart. Ada leaves the premises as the facilities on the island explode, and You arrived at the scene. Leon rushes you, and the two head towards the dock and ride in a water scooter left behind by Ada, and navigate their way around the collapsing cave and burning facilities. Making it out, the two witness the destruction of the island. You offered to put Leon in her protection detail, but Leon refuses, seeing how she can handle herself. The two make their way home as Hunnigan finally reaches contact with Leon.
