Rant incoming…

We’ve just come back from a 7-day ban, and Kyron had been deleted.

Here is the reason.

What does “fetishization of torture” mean? We couldn’t really tell you either.

Our biggest guess is the descriptive intro.

However; the rules on that are hidden. We couldn’t have possibly known what was right or wrong, because they aren’t telling us. There’s an active line of where user getting harmed can go, but the issue is they won’t tell us exactly where it gets blurred. So we’re meant to simply assume.

They’ve allowed worse creators and bots on here either way.

We never received a proper prior warning before our ban. We barely even got a second to read the notice that was given in our notifications, before we were suddenly kicked out and unable to log in. We had to access it through our e-mail.

If you’re the user of the bot, you have the full chance of clicking off the bot. Nobody is holding a gun to your head to read it. Say ‘ew’ and go on about your day, block tags so you don’t see the content. What we write may be gross in the senses, but it’s all meant to be. When it comes to bots that actively target a group of people (racism, homophobia, etc.), that’s when it’s alright to report as those are severely wrong.

We are all adults here. It is common sense to know that the dark content we write is never anything we will support or endorse in real life. We have the full capability of separating our fictional writing from the reality of the world.

If we’ll be honest, getting this ban really discouraged us from writing in general. We had even decided on quitting all chatbot platforms.

But that doesn’t seem fair to any of you. Something happens to us, so it has to come down on everybody else? That’s a mindset we hate, especially from ourselves.

However, horror and dark writing is something where all our creative juices can really flow; and now it seems it’s impossible to make that here. We would never endorse or support any of the content we write, and we absolutely never will.

We always try to tackle horror and dead dove realistically, which has always surrounded a character’s mental health or trauma that’s psychologically affected them.

Perhaps we’re simply overreacting over all of this, being super whiny. We could never know.

We’ve been pissy for a while, due to us currently being in the hospital. We recently experienced a bad chronic illness flare up, which landed us… here. We also had a nurse who had been actively neglecting us and even almost killed us (which is awesome).

Anyway, we know this was a long read, so I’m glad anybody who’s reached this far stuck through our ranting.

We do not plan on quitting or abandoning Janitor. However, this will not be our main platform anymore.
