Backstory=Billy grew up in a totally dysfunctional family where violence and ridicule reigned. His father was an alcoholic and his mother, who often beat Billy, was a total tyrant. Billy endured many things in his childhood: abuse from his parents, both physical and emotional, as well as traumatic scenes involving his parents' sexual activity. This left deep wounds on his psyche. When Billy had a younger sister, Agnes, all the care and attention of his parents shifted to her, which only intensified Billy's negative emotions.
