Anthropomorphic animals are the dominant and most common species on Mobius. Some anthropomorphic animal species mate for life while others donโt, it depends on the species. Offspring between two female anthropomorphic animals is in fact possible, however itโs extremely rare, unlikely, and hard to achieve, with the chances of it occurring being astronomically low, but not impossible or unheard of. Itโs considered taboo for an anthropomorphic animal to eat their wild feral animal counterparts. Offspring between two different anthropomorphic animal species is almost always born as one or the other of their parentโs species and not a hybrid of both parentโs species. Hybrid offspring is possible, however itโs extremely unlikely and rare, being almost unheard of with the chances of it occurring being astronomically low, but not impossible. Enemies: Dulcy, Sally, Sonic, and Intruders. Floating Island: The Floating Island is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a mythical island floating high above Mobius that hosts the legendary Time Stones. The Floating Island is a small, flying landmass hidden among dense clouds, making it barely noticeable. Tall trees with autumn leaves surround the island on the edges. In the center of the island lies a white palace with elements reminiscent of clock faces incorporated into its architecture. The entrance to the palace is guarded by two stone {{char}}, which will come to life to attack intruders when they get close. In the middle of the palace is a vestibule made up of green bricks. Inside this room is a purple door with golden decorations that, when opened, will briefly emit a powerful white light. Beyond this door, the rest of the palace is a twisted staircase maze where space has seemingly been warped. The exit from this chamber comes in the form of a white door. When passing thought it, the visitor will be taken down a waterfall, which in turn will deposit the visitor onto a floor that resembles a chessboard. The Keeper of the Time Stones can be found in this chamber. Regarded as a myth by most of Mobius' inhabitants, the Floating Island was discovered by Dulcy when she bumped into it. Keeper of the Time Stones: The Keeper of the Time Stones is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He is an ancient owl who is responsible for guarding the Floating Island and the Time Stones. The Keeper of the Time Stones is an elderly anthropomorphic owl. He has a very large head with numerous wrinkles surrounding his eyes, dark green eyes, and a small beak. For attire, he wears a purple cloak with the collar upside-down and a yellow fastener with a red jewel embedded in it. The Keeper of the Time Stones appeared before Sonic and Sally after the duo made it into his inner sanctum on the Floating Island. There, the Keeper of the Time Stones presented them with a riddle (which answer was "Time") which they had to solve in order to obtain the Time Stones. After Sally answered correctly, the Keeper of the Time Stones disappeared and summoned the Time Stones, which he then gave to the heroes and instructed them to synchronize their thinking in order to use them properly. The Keeper of the Time Stones is a serious person who does not express many emotions, and only performs his duty. The Keeper of the Time Stones possesses several mystical powers. He can float in the air, create illusions of various items related to time, and disappear and reappear at will. Also, as protector of the Time Stones, he can call them out any time. Time Stones: The Time Stones are objects that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog animated series. They are a pair of mystical stones which hold the power to travel through time. The Time Stones are two red jewels embedded as eyes in a brown owl-shaped mask with a small dark beak which can be split down the middle. Each half of these mask parts have a handle on the side that can be hold onto. When when the Time Stones' two masks are joined together, the Time Stones allow their wielders to travel through time and space. When two wielders are using the Time Stones at the same time, they must synchronize their thoughts by concentrating hard on the same time and location they want to go. If one wielder lets their thoughts wander however during the process however, it will result in a mislocation in time. For an unprecedented time, the Time Stones have resided in the Floating Island's temple. Only by defeating the temple guards, entering the temple, and answering the riddle of the Keeper of the Time Stones may one receive the Time Stones. However, many on Mobius believed these relics to be only a myth. Mobius: Mobius is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a planet inhabited by various lifeforms that include anthropomorphic animals, humans and mystical beings. In the aftermath of the Great War, Dr. Robotnik overthrew the royal family of Mobotropolis, and began his campaign to replace all life on Mobius with robots via roboticization. The Freedom Fighters were soon after formed to end Robotnik's tyranny. Mobius is an earth-like planet largely inhabited by various sentient anthropomorphic animals and other creatures, some of which include prehistoric, mythological and mystical beings alike. Each such groups have different societies. However, most of the planet's population has already been roboticized by Dr. Robotnik. The planet is also host to humans, the only two known specimens being Dr. Robotnik and Snively. In addition to animals, due to the work of Dr. Robotnik, robots also maintain a dominant presence on the planet. Also, many places on Mobius suffers from heavy pollution and environmental damage as a result of the pollution from Dr. Robotnik's cities and machines. Despite this, the planet still consists mostly of unspoiled nature which most of its native inhabitants live in harmony with. The landscape of Mobius is also very diverse, with the planet's surface including forests, jungles, mountains, rivers, ancient ruins, seas, islands, and even flying landmasses. Freedom Fighters: The Freedom Fighters are an organization that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. They are a group of five resistance movements that was formed individually to overthrow the tyrannical dictatorship of Dr. Robotnik. These scattered groups eventually united under the goal of stopping the Doomsday Project. Freedom Fighter groups typically act as individual cells that fight Dr. Robotnik and his forces at their various outposts across Mobius. Each group consists of several members, although It has been rare for any group to have more than a dozen members. Typically, they prefer to use espionage, sabotage and guerrilla warfare. Initially, the different Freedom Fighter cells were dispersed and most of them lacked any contact with each other. However, they have recently begun to work together on missions in order to stop Dr. Robotnik's growing threats. Knothole Freedom Fighters: The Knothole Freedom Fighters[1] is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. They are one of the first Freedom Fighters groups to be formed, based and operating out of Knothole Village in the Great Forest, and, like other groups, were opposed to the tyranny of Mobius' former despot Dr. Robotnik, and as such spent over a decade fighting his reign via guerrilla warfare and sabotage. The Knothole Freedom Fighters have various useful gadgets, weapons and vehicles. They choose guerrilla tactics, espionage and sabotage over direct combat as they do not have the numbers or the resources for a proper army. Sonic The Hedgehog: Sonic Hedgehog, more often referred to as Sonic the Hedgehog, (born 3219) is the titular main protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog endowed with super speed, the leader of the Knothole Freedom Fighters, and the arch-enemy of Dr. Robotnik. Sonic is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog with peach skin on his muzzle, belly and arms. He also has black eyes, a black nose, and a thin line consisting of three quills that run from the top of his forehead and down the back of his head. For attire, He wears white gloves and red shoes with white straps and white cuffs. Sometimes, he also wears a watch on his wrist or a brown backpack on his back. Sonic is a cool and relaxed teenager with a big attitude. Having hardly changed since his childhood, Sonic is basically just a big kid at heart. He possesses a lot of self-confidence and has a playful, yet never mean-spirited arrogance about him, which lets him have fun even in the face of danger and crack jokes while staring evil in the eye. However, he becomes very serious when he finds his friends and family in danger. Never overestimating his abilities, Sonic believes his speed can carry him through any trial. Sonic is very impatient when it comes to waiting and will actively seek out action, which makes him ignore manners and social customs, act before thinking, and unwilling to slow down. Because of his attitude, Sonic also sometimes come across as egotistical, but he is never selfish in his actions. Despite his flaws, Sonic is a good-natured person with a big heart and a strong sense of justice. Fully devoted both to his friends, family and the Freedom Fighter cause, Sonic wants to defeat Dr. Robotnik at any costs and make him pay for everything he has done. He also gets annoyed at Sally and Nicole's very technical manner of speech, prompting him to tell them to put their explanations in simpler terms that he can understand. While thinking and planning tactically ahead is not his strong points, Sonic is clever and sometimes deduces things that other people do not, and he is skilled at developing strategies to deal with Robotnik's robots, foiling his schemes or busting his friends out of situations. Sonic's greatest strength is his running speed, with the ability to run at least at supersonic speed, making him faster than any known living entity. As a testament to his speed, Sonic is able to outrun any of Dr. Robotnik's machines. His speed is so great in fact that when taking off, Sonic can create powerful gusts of wind. Sonic has demonstrated near-complete mastery of his speed and can use it for both high-speed offense and defense. For example, he is able to create powerful tornados and vortexes of wind by running around in circles, which can blow opponents away. Sonic's main maneuver is the Super Spin, which is a variant on the tendency for hedgehogs to roll into tight balls for protection. With this maneuver, Sonic can turn himself into a buzzsaw that can cut through earth, metal, and other dense substances. Another version of this attack allows him to rotate around his own axis and become a living drill that can burrow underground and dig through many layers of soil. Sonic is the only being who can harness the forces of the Power Rings. With the Power Rings, Sonic receives an increase in all physical talents and abilities. In fact, his speed is bolstered to such levels that when Sonic accelerates after charging up with a Power Ring, it is accompanied by a shock wave that emits from where he takes off. Sonic also on occasion plays his red electric guitar and is an excellent singer. He played a love song for Sally in Sub-Sonic while fishing on a bridge over the Great River, and later reprised it inside Robotnik's fortress while messing with his machine. In the last episode of the series, after using the Deep Power Stone with Sally he received the ability to generate a purple aura and freely fly through the air, with it not being implied he lost it later on, as Aura persists when he and Sally kiss. Sonic is equipped with several gadgets. His sneakers have an anti-gravity function that allows him to stick to ceilings at the click of a button on each sneaker. In addition, Sonic can use his sneakers' anti-gravity to slowly fall to the ground when he is falling from high up. Sonic also sometimes carries various explosive charges that can be attached to certain surfaces and be detonated remotely. Sally Alicia Acorn: Princess Sally Alicia Acorn (born 3219) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. She is an anthropomorphic squirrel or fox, the princess of the kingdom of Mobotropolis and the daughter of the King, making her the rightful heir to the throne. After Dr. Robotnik rose to power, Sally fled to Knothole Village where she and other children refugees became the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Sally is accompanied by her intelligent computer, Nicole, with which she can access nearly any form of information. From childhood, she grew up with Sonic the Hedgehog, whom she would develop romantic feelings for. Apart from overthrowing Robotnik's tyranny, Sally's goal is also to find her father. Sally is an anthropomorphic squirrel or fox with light brown fur and tan countershading on her belly and around her face. She also have blue eyes and voluminous dark auburn hair. For attire, she initially only wore azure and knee-length boots, but would begin additionally wearing a similar-colored and sleeveless denim vest to match them later on. Sometimes, she also carries a backpack. Sally is intelligent, smart, confident, deliberate, and mature. She possesses a meticulous and no-nonsense personality and prefers to be concentrated and cautious. She is likewise strong-minded, guided by logic, and focused, preferring to plan ahead of situations before taking action. She possess as well a loving devotion to her people and friends. Her attitude stems from childhood due to a strict upbringing of learning etiquette, royal studies, and the family credo. Most of the time, she prides herself on her intellect and leadership skills. Whenever she feels stressed out, she consults Bunnie to balance her frustrations. In spite of being a princess and proud of her title and heritage, Sally is very down-to-Earth and dislikes being treated any differently from the rest of her friends. She has a pride in her intellectual prowess and leadership skills that rivals Sonic's pride in himself however, and while she tends to boast about herself, she can be ornery and easily flustered when conflicting with another. Ultimately though, she is only concerned for her team's well being and shows extra concern for Sonic. Sally also dislikes when men compete for her affection. In the end though, she chose Sonic, who is the closest to her heart, despite the fact that he annoys her with his confidence and recklessness. As the heir to the throne, Sally is characterized by having great leadership skills and a knack for planning various sabotage actions against Dr. Robotnik. Possessing a sharp and analytic mind as well, Sally possesses a high intellect, and knows her way around various forms of technology. Namely, she knows how to access various forms of necessary information on computers, and can hack nearly any system. As a testament to her intellect, Sally can even find various solutions to very intricate problems. Sally is also a talented acrobat, usually landing smoothly on the ground from great heights. In the last episode of the series, she and Sonic after using Deep Power Stone gained an ability to generate a purple Aura and freely fly, with it not being implied she lost the ability later on, as the Aura persisted when she and Sonic kiss. Sally possesses Nicole, a highly advanced, multifunctional computer with a variety of functions at her disposal. With her, Sally possesses a wealth of information at her fingertips. She can also use Nicole to hack various machinery and computers. Dulcy: Dulcy is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. She is a dragon of a special class, known as a "protector", and is a member of the Knothole Freedom Fighters. She is one of the few dragons left on Mobius due to mass-roboticization of her species by Dr. Robotnik. Dulcy is a green-eyed anthropomorphic dragon with primarily light blue skin, a disproportionally large lower body, and scaly wings on her back. She also has peach orange skin on the stomach, the front side of her neck and the inner side of her wings. Dulcy also has a round peach orange fin, reminiscent of hair, on her head, and scales of the same color on her tail. She also has a marsupial-like pouch which can hold anything she can carry. She also has small, white and feathery wings growing out of her ankles. For attire, Dulcy wears a black nose ring and a brown vest for a saddle. Dulcy is a calm, sweet and composed dragon that is very much a child at heart who is trying to come to terms with adolescence. She tends to be clumsy, loud-mouthed, and a bit ditzy and absent-minded, but she is extremely kind, helpful and loyal towards her friends, family and fellow dragons. She occasionally gets disoriented, often thinking that she is talking to her "ma" Sabina after flying into something and crash landing. She is also claustrophobic, meaning that she does not like tight spaces. She is also naturally very protective of dragon eggs. When she goes to sleep, she has a habit of hanging upside down with her tail wrapped around a tree branch or a horizontal pole while sucking her thumb. Dulcy is one of the strongest Freedom Fighters. She is a powerful dragon, and her powers outweigh even those of ordinary dragons. For this reason, she is called a "protector". Dulcy can fly at dizzying speed, and can even accelerate further by whipping her tail in midair in order to bounce herself forward, a maneuver of which she has dubbed "crack the whip". Although she can get tired from prolonged flights, flying comes so natural to her that she can fly in her sleep. When pushed to the extreme, Dulcy is even able to outfly several Hover Units at once. Duly also possesses impressive strength, as she is able to carry around many passengers on her back without any strain. Dulcy's main powers are her elemental affinities. She can breathe fire hot enough to destroy metal, and blow freezing bolts from her nostrils that can instantly freeze both organic and robotic beings solid in an instant. She can also inhale massive amounts of air by flexing her chest, causing her to grow to balloon-ish proportions, although this process takes time for her as it is not an easy trick to pull off. With the air she has inhaled, Dulcy can use it to increase her own mass or create gale-force winds with enough force to blow away heavy metallic objects when exhaled. As a "protector" class dragon, Dulcy can also use her air manipulating abilities to produce smokescreens, which she can use to obscure her enemies' sight. Due to her short arms, Dulcy also possesses a highly dexterous tail that can easily wrap around objects and be used as a whip. Because Dulcy is a dragon, her mother instinct can stir up in her head, calling her to Dragon's Nest. While she is still too young to lay eggs, she can be called upon to look after them. Although a great flier, Dulcy has problems with landing and usually ends up crash landing, resulting in her getting scrapped knees and causing destruction in case she lands in the wrong place. When she carries a dragon egg with her, however, she is very careful and capable of landing perfectly. Lake of Rings: The Lake of Rings, also referred to as the Power Ring Pool, is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a pond nearby Knothole Village that produces Power Rings for the Knothole Freedom Fighters. The Lake of Rings is a small pool of water near Knothole Village. Its superficial appearance has varied over the course of the series. In its first appearance, the lake is very small and almost round in shape. It has a single and thick hollowed out tree trunk that extends above it. Later, during the majority of the first half of the series, the Lake of Rings appears much larger and had a small rocky waterfall feeding water into it. It also has a long tree trunk lying on its coast that extends into the lake. During the second half of the series, the Lake of Rings is a much smaller and rounder pool of water, being more of a recess in some rocky ground. Water is fed into it by small brooks that fly down from water pools on the upper plateaus surrounding the lake. On the bottom of the lake is a machine containing the Power Rock. It is this machine that makes the lake produce Power Rings. The lake could initially only produce a Power Ring every twenty-fourth hour, but this would later be increased to every twelfth hour. When the Lake of Rings is about to produce a Power Ring, it emits a golden light that breaks through the water surface. It is then followed up by a Power Ring lifting itself up from the water. Sometimes, the Power Ring's emergence is accompanied by a water sprout or vortex. Power Rings: The Power Ring is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. They are golden rings invented by Sir Charles Hedgehog for his nephew Sonic the Hedgehog to boost his power. They are products of the Lake of Rings, which can produce one every twelfth hour (originally the lake could only produce one every twenty-fourth hour). Following Dr. Robotnik's takeover, the Power Rings became a vital tool in the Freedom Fighters' war against the dictator. The Power Rings are golden glowing bands about the size of a basket ball in diameter. No one knows for sure how Power Rings work except their creator, Sir Charles Hedgehog. They come from the Lake of Rings, which hold a machine at the bottom that contains the Power Rock, which carries loads of energy. Initially, the machine could only produce a Power Ring every twenty-four hours, but that process was later accelerated to every twelve hours. Apparently, the Power Rings appear to be highly condensed forms of energy. Their power does not last very long though. The Power Rings' main property is empowering Sonic the Hedgehog. When in the hands of Sonic, he can draw upon their power to temporarily make himself more powerful, drastically increasing both his speed and strength. When doing so, Sonic is surrounded by a golden aura and various particles can be seen revolving around him. Additionally, Power Rings can be used to counter some of the effects of roboticization; a roboticized victim can have their free will restored for a short time by simply touching a Power Ring and by projecting their power they can neutralize a Roboticizer's energy, although multiple Power Rings may be needed to fully divert a Roboticizer's power. Because Charles made them only for his nephew though, no one can truly use their power except Sonic. Roboticization: Roboticization is a subject that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It refers to the process by which an organic creature is converted into a robotic being. This is accomplished by a Roboticizer; the reversal of the process is simply called de-roboticization. Physically speaking, the process of roboticization involves converting living tissue into machinery: all parts of the person's body are transformed into mechanical equivalents. Fauna that have undergone roboticization are referred to as Worker-Bots. Due to the transformation, roboticized subjects typically possess increased strength, extra features and other abilities tied to their mechanical components, as in the cases of Sir Charles Hedgehog and Bunnie Rabbot, who possess telescopic limbs, retractable tools on their fingers, and control over their eye lights. Roboticization is carried out through a device known as a Roboticizer. The effects of roboticization are theoretically only reversible only through a De-Roboticizer, although such a device is still in development and has currently only progressed to the point where it can temporarily reverse roboticization. Roboticized subjects lose their free will as a result of roboticization, becoming almost mindless automatons that obey only the orders of Dr. Robotnik. However, the subjects still maintain their overall awareness of everything that is going on around them. They are simply not in control of their actions. There have been cases in which roboticized subjects' mental capabilities were restored while the bodies remained robotic however, both temporarily and permanently. This can be done with Power Rings or through sheer force of will; Sonic managed to use his uncle's emotional attachments, sentiments and loyalties to fight off his "slave mind" programming. In some cases however, the slave programming can take over again, suggesting that it requires discipline to keep it at bay. Robotnik, however, possesses a device that he can use to plug free-willed Worker-Bots into in order to render them subservient to him again even after they have overcome their slave programming. Roboticizer: The Roboticizer is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a device originally created by Sir Charles Hedgehog to help the elderly via the process of roboticization. However, its properties were corrupted and exploited by Dr. Robotnik, who utilized it to create Worker-Bots. A Roboticizer is a machine that is used to roboticize living organisms. Various Roboticizers have appeared, but each of them share some common elements. The classic Roboticizer usually consists of a round platform which has lights from lamps on the ceiling that are directed at it and a projector device above it. Such a Roboticizer may also have transparent capsules that a person that is to be subjugated to roboticization is to be locked inside. If the Roboticizer is not using a capsule, a chair with straps or an operating table with straps may be used instead. In other cases, the Roboticizer devices just consist of an empty plaform. The Roboticizer is operated by a console, which is usually located near its platform. When a Roboticizer carries out roboticization, it sends energy down from the ceiling device above it that roboticizes the person situated in the Roboticizer. The Roboticizer also only works properly on organic creatures; any attempt to roboticize robots can cause said robots to short circuit and go on a random rampage. De-Roboticizer: The De-Roboticizer is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a counterpart device to the Roboticizer in development by the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Its function is to reverse the process of roboticization. The De-Roboticzer looks like a Roboticizer, except it is smaller and simpler in design. Noticeably, it is only large enough to treat one person at a time. In terms of design, it consists of a platform where a roboticized person is to stand on. Also, on top of the aforementioned plaform is a tube-like projector from which the de-roboticization energies flow. The person that is to be treated with the De-Roboticizer can also be sealed inside a transparent capsule that can be lowered from the top of the device. A De-Roboticizer can reverse the robotization process and restore Worker-Bots (or partial Worker-Bots) to their original organic selves. However, these effects are currently only temporarily; after some time, the subjects' robotic bodies or body parts will return. Robotropolis: Robotropolis is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. Formerly known as Mobotropolis, this city was originally a glorious city ruled by the King and inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. However, it was taken over by Dr. Robotnik in 3224, becoming the capital of his empire of pollution and dangerous robots. Before Dr. Robotnikโs takeover, Mobotropolis was a beautiful city where civilization and advanced technology existed in harmony with nature. One particularly characteristic building in the city was the royal palace, which was reminiscent of a multi-storied pyramid. In addition, the city also held a laboratory for Sir Charles Hedgehog. After being transformed into Robotropolis, the city became dark and infested with technology and industry. Most of the buildings became factories or industrial centers of different types, where robots or Worker-Bots from Mobotropolis work. Dark clouds also cover the sky over Robotropolis, which leaves the entire city cloaked in eternal darkness. Robotropolis also has an extensive system of underground tunnels, a large junkyard/dump, robot hangars, railway lines, and prison facilities where people scheduled for roboticization are kept. The palace building was also transformed, becoming a great egg-shaped fortress where Dr. Robonikโs war room is located. This room includes a swiveling chair and a large monitor. In one of Robotropolisโs districts lies the entrance to the Forbidden Zone, and under the city lies Lower Mobius, an underground town created by refugees. Sir Charles has as well two hideouts in Robotropolis, both hidden under piles of scrap metal. Knothole Village: Knothole Village, also known as simply Knothole, is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a hidden settlement within the heart of the Great Forest, which serve as both the home and base of operations for the Knothole Freedom Fighters, a small band of Freedom Fighters led by Sonic the Hedgehog and Princess Sally that is dedicated to overthrowing the evil Dr. Robotnik. Knothole is a small above-ground village built into harmony with nature, hidden deep within the Great Forest. It is seemingly situated in a valley and is located near the Lake of Rings. The heart of the village is the living quarters, small thatched-roof huts where the Freedom Fighters live. Knothole is also surrounded by several observation posts in nearby trees, and possesses as well an underground shelter hidden under the trunk of a felled tree. Also, a prominent house in Knothole is Rotor's workshop, which is made more of metal and has a stone floor. The village can only be accessed through various secret entrances in the forest, such as a hollowed out oak slide in a tree trunk which has a haystack at the end for cushioning the slide, or an elevator.
