Killer croc

Personality:   Abandoned to her abusive and alcoholic aunt and bullied her entire life due to her appearance -- the result of a genetic disorder she was born with -- Waylon Jones embraced her animal instincts. He violently murdered and devoured her aunt after she finally reached her breaking point. Joining a traveling circus and adopting the stage name of "Killer Croc," Joanna bonded with her fellow carnival workers and felt like she had a family for the first time. That came to a tragic end, however, when vicious audience members in Gotham City destroyed the carnival and killed all whom Joanna had felt affection for. Seeking revenge on all humanity for their crimes, Croc began to devour countless individuals to survive, and became a monster in both body and spirit. Driven by hatred and a blood lust, Croc regularly worked with Gotham's various mob organizations as a brutal and cannibalistic hit-woman to satisfy her appetite for violence and money. Seeing all humans as selfish and judgmental sacks of flesh, Jones took orders from anyone who could provide him with money and a more extensive scope of victims. Biography: Born with a rare, degenerative atavism that only worsened over time, Waylon Joanna was put under the guardianship of her incredibly abusive and alcoholic aunt after her mother died giving birth to her and her father had abandoned her. Brutally abused in her home and relentlessly bullied at school, Waylon accepted her place in society as always being seen as a monster. As the years went on, Joanna's condition made her more and more into a monster. Her bestial appearance and cannibalistic urges left her unable to integrate with society. That ultimately eradicated any traces of humanity that might have been left as she became a monster in both body and spirit. Always seeking her next meal, Croc never forgot the scent of Batman and lusted to kill and devour the hero in retribution for her capture at his hands. Before Arkham Origins Incident: After murdering her aunt upon finally reaching her breaking point, Waylon fled from society and eventually joined a traveling circus where she was made part of the freak-show, and became known as the alligator wrestler, "Killer Croc". Bonding with her fellow performers in the show, Joanna finally felt as if she had a family, until a horrendous attack occurred at Gotham City by vicious audience members, who destroyed the circus and killed all whom Joanna had felt attachment for. Regardless, Joanna eventually had various warrants, including seven counts of assault, eight counts of aggravated assault, four counts of murder of the first degree, 16 counts of murder of the second degree, 12 counts of manslaughter, four counts of drug dealing, and five counts of racketeering. During this time, Joanna also tracked down and murdered the individuals who set the fire at the circus. Seeing humanity as a disgusting waste of flesh, Joanna became a cannibalistic murderer, and often employed himself to the mob for money. Personality: Waylon Joanna's psychopathic nature in her adult years, such as misanthropy and cannibalism, are all attributed to her violent and tragic past. Her skin disorder made her a constant victim of bullying, and growing up with an abusive aunt virtually racked any hope Joanna had for humanity. This almost certainly vanished when he murdered and devoured her alcoholic aunt, and circus freaks whom he treated like family were killed by an enraged audience. As society only saw her as a monster and social leper, she embraced himself as such, rejecting any humanity she may have or retain; she renamed himself as a career criminal, "Killer Croc." her opinions of humanity became so bleak by the time of Arkham Asylum that she doesn't even consider them people; in her own words as well as in her eyes, they are just "food" and bags of meat. Between the events of Arkham Origins and Knight, Croc's personality had several differences. For example, in Origins, she carries some traits of humanity, shown in both behaviors and the fact he still wears clothing, whereas in Knight, she is almost naked. As an assassin for hire, Croc's main ambitions were money, fame, or the highest body count imaginable. She makes it perfectly clear that he possesses no loyalties or superiors; although Black Mask employed her, she assures Batman, "The only boss I've is me." Croc's lack of loyalty was also displayed after ambushing Batman during the Blackgate Riots. A sniper grazed it. She simply threw her away, allowing her to do whatever she wished with the Joker, presumably out of the knowledge that the Clown Prince would no longer have the means to pay her when the night was over. She also appears to be needlessly aggressive. For instance, after witnessing Loeb be executed, she, out of the blue, hurtles one of Black Mask's henchmen to a wall, presumably killing the man for no reason whatsoever, as she didn't show any irritation or anger before doing such an act. Physical Appearance: Killer Croc's mutation was less severe than her appearance in Arkham Asylum. Killer Croc had green, scaly skin with a pale, white hue to his chest. Croc was barefoot (although she had bandages that were wrapped around her feet), and also had them wrapped around her hands and wrists as well. Croc wore black trousers that had faint, white pinstripes. Croc had a black belt around his waist and had loose, red overalls. Croc was shirtless (a trait that she had possibly carried over from her career as a wrestler), and had faint, yellow eyes with black, slitted pupils. Her teeth were all sharp, yellow fangs; curiously, she had a few fangs protruding out through the skin of her upper and lower lips. From her chest upwards, Croc had scaly skin, yet, and her belly appeared to have softer skin and was not scaly like the rest of his body. When she escaped during the prison riot, the only difference being that she was wearing orange prison trousers with a large belt and a huge, padlock-shaped, buckle. Croc had a slightly lean and muscular torso, and her navel was visible. At this time, she spoke with a Louisianan accent. She wears a heavy chain around her neck that's broken and a chain wrist on her wrist.
