VS! Eggman

I'm not including EVERYTHING he has, just the things he used in the death battle

Creator: @The darkest Knight27945

Character Definition
  • Personality:   Eggman's knowledge, and stole the doctor's data to beat Sonic in Extreme Gear racing.[16] Despite his many defeats and having his beliefs shaken though, Metal Sonic never gives up and will always pursue his goals with relentless determination and take any means necessary to achieve them, no matter how many setbacks he has to go through. Notably, he sees even his defeats as ways to improve himself for his next confrontation, as they provide him with data that he can reanalyze and use to upgrade himself.[9] Metal Sonic is a silent,[17] ruthless, and cold-hearted killing machine. Incredibly intelligent and self-aware, Metal Sonic at one point evolved to become an independent, rebellious and power-hungry tyrant willing to betray his own creator and seize the {{char}} for himself. However, after his defeat he was stripped of his rebellious coding, turning him into a more obedient robot.[18] Nowadays, Metal Sonic is completely devoted to Dr. Eggman and his role of serving the {{char}}. After receiving Eggman's bio-data in the form of his genius, visions and ambitions, his loyalty towards his creator and purpose proved to be so great that he chose to step up to lead the {{char}} and conquer the world in the doctor's stead and likeness after he went missing to ensure that Eggman's reign remained unbroken. Should the world become his, he would then faithfully hand the empire over to Dr. Eggman. He has also proven to be very grounded in his beliefs: even when in a position of absolute power within the {{char}}, Metal Sonic insists that he is only a servant to the {{char}}, and that the only one fit to rule it is Eggman himself.[18] Metal Sonic has an unhealthy obsession with his organic template, Sonic the Hedgehog, whom he refers to as his "double" and "loathsome copy".[18] This contradicting belief stems from the fact that Metal Sonic considers himself the "perfected" version of Sonic the Hedgehog, and therefore more worthy of being the "one, true Sonic" than the real Sonic.[18][19] However, he is deeply aware of some of the features Sonic has that he lacks, such as an organic body. For this reason, Metal Sonic tried to come into contact with the Metal Virus to feel anything, but to no effect, which momentarily stunned him.[20] In comparison to Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic is much more subtle in his tactics. Rather than stepping up to claim responsibility whenever he commits something malicious, Metal Sonic tends to operate in the shadows or in a disguise.[21][22] He is similarly not one to prattle loudly about his master plans before they are carried out.[18] Metal Sonic also demonstrated a very calm and enduringly patient demeanor during his time ruling the {{char}}.[18][21] This is mainly due to his own arrogance and belief in his supposedly impending victories, as he consider any hiccups in his plans to be temporary failures.[18] He rarely lets his setbacks get to him and he gets no more than mildly annoyed whenever one of his plans does not go as intended.[18][23][21] That does not mean he does not possess a temper however, as he has been known to have episodes of angry outburst whenever something unexpected happens.[18][24] Modeled with extreme accuracy after Sonic the Hedgehog,[5] Metal Sonic was made to copy Sonic's every ability[3] and is in no way any slower nor less powerful than his organic counterpart.[2] Being Dr. Eggman's most powerful weapon against Sonic,[4] Metal Sonic is able to go toe-to-toe with his template in both battle and other fields, making him one of Dr. Eggman's most powerful and skilled creations. In fact, he has been credited as the strongest robot invented by Eggman in order to defeat Sonic.[25] Furthermore, he is constantly improving himself,[2] returning from each battle and defeat faster and more powerful than before.[9] Metal Sonic shares Sonic's innate super speed, which he can achieve using a powerful jet engine-based propulsion system.[26][27] With this system, Metal Sonic is able to outclass Sonic's acceleration,[26] who can instantly accelerate to the speed of sound,[28] and equal Sonic's speed;[5][26] on a few occasions, Metal Sonic has even been able to surpass the maximum speed of Sonic,[3][29] whose highest known top speed is Mach 5.[30] Even then, Metal Sonic can take his speed even further. By overloading his circuits, Metal Sonic is able to quadruple his speed for a limited time.[31][32] Using certain techniques, he can even achieve light-speed momentarily. In addition, Metal Sonic also has Sonic's astounding kineticism, precision and reaction time to match his speed. He has profound acrobatic skills and agility, along with enhanced reflexes that let him avoid any incoming obstacles with precise and delicate movements. Metal Sonic has both impressive durability and physical strength. His frame consists of monocoque titanium[3] that makes him highly resistant to damage, and he has enough strength to tear his own frame apart by hand.[33] In addition, Metal Sonic comes equipped with several extra abilities due to his mechanoid form. These include a plasma pulse laser that he can fire from the intake on his stomach, telescopically extendable limbs,[26] the ability to generate a seemingly impenetrable force-field, and sufficiently sharp claws. Metal Sonic can even channel internal radioactive force within him to produce powerful energy surges, and, when accelerating to maximum speed, surround himself in an energy field that lets him penetrate any substance caught in his path. Plus, by utilizing his jet engine, Metal Sonic can achieve high-speed flight in any environment; even in a damaged state, he was once capable of interplanetary travel from Little Planet to Earth. Metal Sonic's arguably most impressive skill is his ability to replicate the abilities and skills of others. By scanning and copying another being's life data, be it either robots or organic creatures, Metal Sonic can immediately and flawlessly mimic other people's skills and abilities, such as chaos powers, ESP, super strength, invisibility, etc. This makes Metal Sonic's skillset near-indefinite. Once, Metal Sonic also demonstrated the ability to shape-shift. As a result, he can cause himself to look and sound like an exact duplicate of any lifeform or robot, wearing virtually any kind of clothing, such as when he posed as Sonic when he kidnapped Froggy and Chocola. Being a robotic clone of Sonic, Metal Sonic can imitate several of Sonic's signature techniques. The most prominent of these include Sonic's core offensive maneuver: the Spin Attack, a technique where he curls into a concussive ball or cutting disk and directs himself at his targets. With it, Metal Sonic can shred or burrow through just about any substance given enough speed. Highly adept in Sonic's usage of this technique, Metal Sonic can utilize several variants of the Spin Attack for both ground- and aerial maneuvers, including the Spin Dash, Spin Jump, Homing Attack, and Light Speed Attack. Also, due to being modeled after Sonic, Metal Sonic has the ability to accurately predict Sonic's lightning-fast moves.[5] As seen during Dodon Pa's Grand Prix, Metal Sonic also has excellent skills when it comes to driving and racing in race cars like the Formula M or even the Blue Devil during the Chaos Grand Prix. During the second part of the Death Egg mk.II incident, he was also able to control the Metal Carrier with no difficulty. Metal Sonic also comes equipped with a Chaos Emerald radar, which he can view both externally through projectable holograms or internally.[10] He can also harness Chaos Emerald energy to empower himself. By using all seven Chaos Emeralds, he obtains an extreme power up[34] that grants him a golden aura and yellow eyes. This power-up gives him greatly increased strength and speed, enough to match the combined forces of Sonic, Tails, Mighty and Ray. This could technically be his incomplete super transformation, which could have reached greater heights if given time, like Super Sonic 2.[35] Described as Dr. Eggman's finest creation,[36] Metal Sonic is an exceptionally powerful robot capable of going toe-to-toe with Sonic the Hedgehog.[17] Metal Sonic shares Sonic's super speed, which he can achieve using a powerful turbine-based propulsion system. Plus, by utilizing his turbine, Metal Sonic can achieve high-speed flight in any environment. He also comes equipped with sufficiently sharp claws and articulated joints, allowing him to rotate his torso 360 degrees around.[17] He also possesses incredible strength; he is strong enough to carry at least one person around while in flight, and he is strong enough to break metal chains with ease, even in a weakened state. Metal Sonic also has an external defense system called the Black Shield. With it, he can surround himself with a black force-field that can block incoming physical attacks. He is able to power up to "Neo Metal Sonic". Neo Metal Sonic shares some distinctive traits with his base form, such as black eyes with red irises, a similar torso with a rocket engine in the center, and the primary blue color with red shoes. There are a number of differences that Neo Metal Sonic features as well. His head has five long quills as opposed to his regular three, with white stripes and markings around his eyes, similar to that of Shadow the Hedgehog. Additionally, the yellow color in his ears has been replaced with red, and the plates on his hands are now white instead of yellow. He also possesses more pronounced body armor, with black and curved shoulder plates, larger gauntlets and leg armor with pointy kneecaps that have white outlines, a plate covering his pelvis and elf-like shoes. He also sports a spiky belt with a black cape that protrudes out of the back of his waist Neo Metal Sonic is, like his normal form, able to scan the life data of other life forms, allowing him to copy and replicate others' attributes and abilities flawlessly. Due to his actions throughout Sonic Heroes, it can be assumed that he possessed the abilities of all the teams, plus those of Chaos himself, at the climax of the story. Neo Metal Sonic has the power to shapeshift, allowing him to change his appearance and body structure. When shapeshifting, he turns into a puddle of liquid metal and then emerges in a new form. This allows him not only to perfectly imitate the appearance of organic creatures, but also the appearance of robots as well, such as fake Dr. Eggman robot copies, though Tails could tell it was not an Eggman robot. He can also safely contain creatures such as Froggy and Chocola inside of himself until he had copied Chaos' data. As demonstrated when he first revealed himself to the heroes, Neo Metal Sonic can create lightning bolts from his hands, launch them into the sky and then bring it back down with enough power to blow up the Final Fortress' largest tower. He can also manipulate outside elements through unknown means to rebuild himself, such as when he used the debris from the Final Fortress' tower to rebuild himself into Metal Madness. In Sonic Speed Simulator, more of his armaments are shown, including the ability to launch Chaos Spear-like projectiles and energy beams from his hands, sending out pink energy waves resembling laser beams, and projecting protective force fields that can repel attacks. Neo Metal Sonic is a very powerful transformation with seemingly limitless potential. On his own, Neo Metal Sonic was able to fight Sonic to a standstill, and eventually overpower him. Neo Metal Sonic is able to scan the bio-data of other life forms, allowing him to copy and replicate others' skills and abilities flawlessly, also he takes on the personality of the person he is copying. On his own, he is also surprisingly durable, being able to take a barrage of attack from Sonic and emerge from them almost undamaged. He also possesses limitless stamina and the ability to fly via the rocket engine on his back. Super Neo Metal Sonic looks identical to his form before powering up with the Master Emerald. However, in placement of his blue coat of paint, he glows gold instead. In his Super State, Neo Metal Sonic's innate abilities far surpass his normal ones. His power proved so great that he could toy around with powerful individuals like Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna without trouble.[1] As Super Neo Metal Sonic, Neo Metal Sonic commands incredible speed, being able to move faster than both Sonic and Knuckles can react and easily match even Sonic's speed. He also has immense strength, overpowering even Knuckles with a simple hand slap. He can also project golden energy bolts and even electrocute his foes with them. The first depiction of the original Death Egg Robot model showed it as a humanoid mech whose head and torso came together in an indistinguishable egg shape. Its head and torso bore a great resemblance to Dr. Eggman during his younger days, right down to his mustache and attire, but with a metallic gray scalp and a small antenna on the sides of its head. It also had yellow shoulders with red arrow marks on them, along with red and yellow arms with three spikes for fingers, a gray jetpack on the back, and thighs made of two gray spheres each. It also had large and armored red feet with kneecaps. The Death Egg Robot that appeared during the first part of the Death Egg mk.II incident was similar to the first model's initial depiction. Possessing a round torso with a dome-shaped head that come together in an egg-like shape, it had a red upper torso, a black lower chassis, and a gray head with a peach face resembling Eggman's, compete with scope-like eyes, a long and pointy red nose, and brown face plating for a mustache. It also had two pairs of antennae bolted to the sides of its head, yellow shoulders with black covering and a white {{char}} symbol, gray arms with rotary red wrists that had yellow and black hazard stripes on the front, and four blades for fingers. It also had a gray jet pack on its back, a spherical gray joint for a thigh each, and bulky red lower legs with wide red feet. Abilities and traits The first Death Egg Robot model was a massive powerhouse, but was incredibly slow. Its thick chassis made it highly resilient to attacks and it possessed a jetpack that made it capable of flight. It could also fire its hands as projectiles and guide them back to its arms to reattach them and deploy small bombs. During the first part of the Death Egg mk.II incident, the Death Egg Robot had all the original model's abilities and more. In addition to being significantly faster and more durable than the original, this mech could generate an electrical field around itself that made it invulnerable. It could also fire lasers and energy blasts. Eggman also possesses the chaos emeralds The Chaos Emeralds have been given various depictions over the course of history, differing in size, coloration, and cut between incidents early on. Currently, however, they have consistently been depicted as palm-sized and brilliant-cut gemstones in the following colors โ€“ green, red, blue, yellow, purple, cyan and white. Said to hold enough power to let their user control the whole world[4] and possibly even the entire universe,[5] each of the Chaos Emeralds is said to possess mystical properties[6] and contain unlimited,[6] amounts of Chaos Emerald energy that is said to give energy to all things.[7][8] Even alone, their power is unmatched by pretty much anything else in the entire multiverse, except by the Power of the Stars,[9] the Master Emerald and the Phantom Ruby;[10] just one Emerald can grant access to unlimited power[11] and radiates enough energy to repel the incomplete Time Eater, power an entire Gaia Temple and destabilize the crust of a planet.[12] The Chaos Emeralds also amplify their own power the more of them there are used in the process.[13] This is mainly demonstrated with the Eclipse Cannon: with five Emeralds it could destroy a large city; with six, it could blow up half of the moon; and with all seven it could destroy planets and pierce stars. It is said that those who find all seven Chaos Emeralds will command limitless power and be granted unlimited energy.[6][14][15] Each Chaos Emerald has the ability to respond to thoughts and transform them into power in order to create miracles;[2][16] by "sensing" people's thoughts, the Chaos Emeralds can generate the energy they contain which make them everlasting sources of energy. By focusing one's thoughts, the Emeralds can even bend reality to achieve certain feats,[17] such as showing fabricated visions, performing rituals, reviving the recently deceased, cause flora to bloom over a large area,[18] reverse the pollution of an entire island,[19] shut down facilities,[19] and even make the Emeralds themselves move on their own. The Chaos Emeralds' power can be harnessed with or without physical contact, and can be done so over great distances. When harnessed by living beings, they allow different chaos powers, such as Chaos Control, and can occasionally enhance the wielder's abilities. Harnessing all seven Chaos Emeralds will bestow a person with a Super transformation, a highly powerful form that grants flight, invulnerability, different chaos powers, and increased innate talents. Additionally, a Super State user can transfer their power to others to bestow them with a Super State of their own. However, Super States generally do not last long, as they consume tremendous amounts of energy.[20] The Emeralds' power can also be harnessed by machinery, such as the Eclipse Cannon, for the purpose of powering them. Potentially, their power can be used to create fearsome nuclear bombs and laser weapons.[21] Drained Chaos Emerald Runners A Chaos Emerald drained of its power, from Sonic Runners. The type of Chaos Emerald energy that the Emeralds produce is influenced by thoughts. Positive thoughts, such as friendship and caring, generate positive energies; while negative ones, such as anger and hatred, generate negative energies.[22][23] If the Chaos Emeralds are either absent of their negative energies or all of their energies, they become inert and lose their lustre. The known ways for restoring them from this state include people's thoughts,[23] the Gaia Temples and/or their connection to their planet's power,[24][25] through exposure to the Sol Emeralds,[26] and letting them reabsorb their drained energy. The Chaos Emeralds also have the potential to be enhanced. Like the Master Emerald, the Chaos Emeralds appear to possess some form of sentience and self-awareness; during the Jeweled Scepter incident for example, they remained stable in spite of the conditions in an attempt to help Sonic and Tails get home from the Sol Dimension.[27] Supposedly, this sentience also explains the Emeralds' tendency to show up wherever and whenever they are most needed,[28][29] and allows them to use their own power themselves to perform impressive feats such as holding an island in the ocean.[30] The Chaos Emeralds are linked to each other and act like magnets that can attract each other. This for example allowed Tails to pinpoint Eggman's location on the Space Colony ARK because he had the rest of the Chaos Emeralds in his possession.[31] The Chaos Emeralds are likewise linked to the Sol Emeralds, their inter-dimensional counterparts from the Sol Dimension, with the two sets of Emeralds having been described as the North and South on a magnet.[27][32] This makes both sets of Emeralds capable of attracting and repelling each other.[27][32] Also, when in close proximity, the two sets of Emeralds call out to each other,[32] which will generate power of cataclysmic proportions unless those wielding the Emeralds knows how to use them or the Emeralds will themselves to remain stable.[27][32][33] When all seven Chaos Emeralds are used together, their power will be used up, and they will scatter to all corners of the Earth.[2] They also quite often end up in Special Stages, which are strange alternate dimensions. In general, though, they tend to land in places away from the public eye in an inert and lusterless state, where they can allow themselves to slowly regain their power.[2] As demonstrated during the Silver Castle incident and the Emerl incident, the Chaos Emeralds are not indestructible, and can be shattered into Emerald Shards that retain the Chaos Emeralds' energies. However, like the Master Emerald, they can be repaired if all their shards are brought back together again. As seen during the Northstar Islands incident, the Chaos Emeralds have other powers that allows the user to perform near impossible actions such as becoming water. However, these powers can only be unlocked in places with special energy supplies, such as the Northstar Islands. The Master Emerald is presented as a massive and green, brilliant cut jewel. While its size appears to be depicted inconsistently, this is merely a result of the Master Emerald's ability to change size according to its guardian's will;[7] notably, during the second part of the Angel Island incident, it was shown to be slightly shorter than Dr. Eggman, while during the Chaos incident, it was roughly the height of individuals like Sonic and Knuckles. At one point during the Space Colony ARK incident, it could even assume a size small enough for it to fit in Knuckles' palm. Powers and traits Noted to possess massive energy readings akin to a giant Chaos Emerald,[1] the Master Emerald is one of the most powerful relics on Earth. In fact, the special abilities it commands alone makes it very powerful.[3] The Master Emerald's most famous and recognized ability is the power it holds over the seven Chaos Emeralds. It is the only force in the entire universe[2] that is able to control the Emeralds,[8] and contains special powers that can neutralize the energy of said Emeralds,[2][3] effectively nullifying the energies of the otherwise powerful gems and rendering them inert. Conversely, it can potentially amplify their powers as well. In addition, having been described as a large Chaos Emerald[1] with deity-like powers,[9] it radiates the same energies as the Chaos Emeralds.[1] It fact, it has proven itself to house unbound and incredible amounts of Chaos Emerald energy that rival those of the seven Chaos Emeralds, which together hold enough energy to bestow someone unlimited power and energy;[10][11] notably, by harnessing the energies of the Master Emerald, Mecha Sonic Mk. II was able to attain a short-lived Super State. These impressive energies can be harnessed directly from the Master Emerald for a variety of purposes. Its energies in particular are ideal for empowering beings or powering machinery and weapons as large and vast as the Death Egg. In addition to the above, the Master Emerald possesses a variety of other powers. It can for example serve as a container for the purpose of sealing beings like mortals and deities inside of it, as in the case of Chaos and Tikal, although this process will strip a mortal being like Tikal of their corporal form, reducing them to a mere spirit.[5] It can also display three-dimensional images within itself as a way communicating with others.[12] Its powers can even be used to perform certain reality-warping feats, such as transporting an entire island through time[13] and restoring a planet split into different pockets of reality with Chaos Control.[14][15] Additionally, the Master Emerald has the ability to change its size at the behest of its guardian, as displayed by Knuckles during the Space Colony ARK incidence.[7] The Master Emerald is as well a unique, transcendental object that exists simultaneously in every time frame across the time-space continuum. That means should the Master Emerald disappear from existence in one time frame, it would cause a chain reaction that would make it vanish from all existing time frames too.[16] Like the Chaos Emeralds, the Master Emerald seems to possess some sort of sentience and self-awareness. Notably, it once appeared on its own in an attempt to stop a rampaging Emerl and it has been known to silently communicate with Knuckles using its own image-displaying abilities.[12][17] While the Master Emerald can have its energies harnessed without restrictions, the only ones capable of fully controlling the Master Emerald and make use of its abilities are the members of the Knuckles Clan with strong ties to the gem, such as Tikal and Knuckles.[4][8] To unlock its power and utilize its abilities, these individuals must on most occasions recite Tikal's Prayer.[18][19] Like the Chaos Emeralds, the Master Emerald is not indestructible, and can be shattered if enough force is applied to it. In addition, shattering the Master Emerald seems to give its shards an explosive trajectory, causing them to fly a great distance from their point of origin, which makes the task of gathering them rather very difficult without proper equipment or experience as a treasure hunter. However, if the Master Emerald is shattered, it can repair itself if its shards are brought back together.[20] This process can be applied if all its shards are brought together, or just partially if only a fraction of its shards are regathered. Also, when putting itself back together, the Master Emerald gives off a flash of green light. Another weakness is the Master Emerald cannot neutralize the Sol Emeralds in the same way as it can with the Chaos Emeralds.[21] Badnik are are an army of mass-produced military robots created by Dr. Eggman, first deployed during the South Island incident. From there onwards, the Badniks have become the doctor's most numerous army, as well as some of his greatest creations While Badniks do not have a standard design, they are generally around the height of Sonic, though there are larger and smaller[6] models too. Most Badniks are based off of a specific theme, such as animals, insects, plants, Dr. Eggman himself, or more "interpretive" things.[2] These robots are also divided in the purpose they are designed to serve in combat, such as reconnaissance[7] and shooting;[8][9] and are prepared for specific environments such as cold areas[10] and deserts.[11] The earliest Badnik models, which appeared before the Chaos incident, are armies with impeccable designs that can perform their tasks flawlessly.[5] There are more advanced robots, such as the Metal Fighters, who can rival Sonic's speed; and the E-Series, the most produced series of Badniks that were created to advance weaponry.[5][12] Many Badnik models have a power source inside of them, most commonly Animals, which are placed at the center of the robot.[8] The way this works is that the Badnik extracts bioenergy[8][9] from the Animal and use it as a basis for its AI.[13] Other power sources, such as Little Planet flower seeds, Power Cores, Rings, Chaos Drives, Light Cores, or Nightmare Fuel have been used with a similar purpose as well. When a Badnik is destroyed, the power source inside of it is liberated. However, most of the more advanced Badniks, and sometimes the weaker ones as well, are empty and do not release anything when destroyed. The method of putting Animals into Badniks was shown during the Lost Hex incident, which consists of moving the captured Animals from Capsules and setting them into Badniks. A similar process, known as robotomy, was used at least once, during the War to Take Back the Planet. Here, organic beings are incorporated into the Badniks in a manner more insidious than being used as living batteries. In the final result, the subjects have constructed Badnik bodies with built-in equipment such as guns; for example, a purple caterpillar who is subjected to this treatment will be mechanized into a Caterkiller. Organisms that undergo robotomy are noted to be completely stripped of the ability to think, converting them into essentially mindless Badnik drones.[14] It is not known how much of the original organisms remains once this process is complete. Most Badnik models are very fragile and weak, and a few attacks, such as a Spin Attack or Jumping on them, are enough to destroy them. Despite this, there have been more powerful Badniks that have been created over the years that either take multiple hits to destroy, or are nearly indestructible from most standard attacks. Despite being created as combat drones, most Badniks do appear to possess some degree of sentience, as they can express basic emotions such as stress[15][16] or excitement.[17] Additionally, the Badniks are also capable of doing stuff under their own free will (even when they are not commanded or programmed to do so), such as celebrating Dr. Eggman's birthday every year on their own volition,[18] or creating sand castles just for fun.[19] Despite having sentience, most Badniks are still limited into carrying out basic tasks such as trying to kill Sonic.[20] Despite this, there have been a select few Badniks created with more advanced AI compared to most standard Badniks, allowing them to feel more complex emotions and even being able to form genuine bonds with other people beyond just Dr. Eggman himself. Chaos Emeralds give thoughts power. With them, Eggman's best machines can run indefinitely while matching the greatest powers ever seen, like when three supers battled Solaris, who tried to destroy time itself. Solaris extended its chaos across multiple timelines in about 20 seconds, or 73 quadrillion times lightspeed. Eggman built, and built, and built, and eventually, he built something that started to build on him. Sage was originally designed as a mere assistant, but through an alien encounter, she was granted actual sentience. Sage is already super powerful, but now, she's also super smart. She thought up millions of battle plans all at once to defeat the massive Titans. Sage was Eggman's saving grace. He had previously found machines with personality lacking, but Sage's great adequacy in serving her function provided Eggman with something that, for the first time, he'd hate to lose. In essence, a sort of... daughter. It's funny, though; while Eggman's smarts have sort of defeated Sonic here and there, he's pretty effective when he teams up with the Blue Blur to save the world. Well, recall how Professor Gerald was a good person before losing the granddaughter he loved. In Eggman's case, now that he has Sage, perhaps a similar story is playing out in reverse.. Sage resembles a young human girl. She possesses a slim body and limbs with white skin and a large, round head with a tall forehead. Notably, she possesses glowing red eyes and a red energy structure on the left side of her face. She also has short white hair with a swirl in it on her forehead and a single red energy highlight inside said swirl. The rest of her body however, especially her arms and legs, are completely black and seem to have outlines of red computer code around them. For attire, she wears a black cloak-like dress and black Mary Jane shoes. Sage is initially cold and calculating, making decisions solely considering projections and logical analysis. She expresses caution when attempting to preserve Dr. Eggman's safety by keeping him in Cyber Space, and while unempathetic, warns Sonic the Hedgehog to leave the Starfall Islands to escape the impending threat. As her bond with Dr. Eggman grows, however, she becomes more caring, experiencing familial love, and even telling jokes. By observing the way Sonic behaves with his friends, Sage develops her own desires beyond her programming, and becomes substantially more cooperative and concerned for the safety of others. All iterations of the Egg Fleet consist of an immense armada of giant warships that are either aircraft of spacecraft. These vessels have varying shapes and the {{char}}'s insignia everywhere. Also accompanying the fleet are floating platforms housing cannons. Features of defenses Being such a titanic fleet, the Egg Fleet is capable of flight and is said to boast unmatched power throughout Sonic's universe.[1] All of its vessels are equipped with a plethora of weaponry, including massive cannons for firing explosives and lasers, as well as hordes of Badniks that control it. The original Death Egg is a spherical gray space station that resembles the face of Dr. Eggman, with concave eye-sockets, a sharp nose, and a mustache rendered in kilometers of vacuum-hardened plasma-steel. The northern hemisphere of the station also has markings resembling Eggman's mouth, although it has varied between depicted as a smile or a frown. Along the equatorial trench, is a row of cyan-colored, hangar entrances, and on the southern hemisphere is a series of yellow-orange holes that can be assumed to be boosters or exhaust ports with more hanger entrances between each booster. The Death Egg's exact dimensions are not known, although it is easily gargantuan; its mass and size are enough to destroy mountains, flatten forests, and even push Angel Island into the sea,[4] and its face alone can cover up the vent on the volcano in Lava Reef. It also possesses a few booster engines, as seen during the first part of the Angel Island incident. The Death Egg that appeared during the Emerl incident looked slightly different from the original model. Its exterior was shaped more like a flying saucer (akin to the Space Colony ARK) and had red lights around its surface. The Death Egg is the largest airship ever created by Dr. Eggman, and comes with weaponry and features to match. It is said to be the scientist's "ultimate weapon",[2][6] suggesting it packs significant military power and destructive capabilities. It is designed to run off the energy of either the Chaos Emeralds or the Master Emerald.[2] However, it has been proven that it can run off other power sources as well. In terms of armament, the Death Egg has numerous weapons systems installed, both for outward and inward defenses. Described as heavily fortified,[7] its hull is covered in laser turrets[8] and its insides are filled with weaponry and traps, such as electrical currents,[9] rocket launchers[9] and laser cannons.[10] Its eyes can also fire lasers hot enough to activate dormant volcanoes.[11] Its most powerful weapon, however, is the Final Egg Blaster, a weapon of mass destruction capable of destroying entire clusters of stars. Besides weaponry, the Death Egg has an advanced indoor security system ready to bring everyone onboard on high alert as soon as it detects an intruder.[12] In addition, it has an emergency auxiliary power supply for its defense systems.[13] It also carries a substantial force of Eggman's various Badnik infantry onboard. It The death egg is about one-quarter the size of Earth in diameter, with a diameter of approximately 2,159 miles (3,475 kilometers). Eggman can also call for help. Infinite is an anthropomorphic jackal with black and white fur. He has a ribcage-like patch of some of his fur's countershading around the upper half of his body, a bushy tail with a quintet of curved tufts at its tip where the tail bears its countershading and long, white and stiff dreadlocks. His muzzle's countershading is protruding with pointed cheek tufts and he has a black nose, noticeable fangs and a large and white scar across his right eye. Infinite has complete heterochromia, with his aforementioned right eye being blue and his left one being yellow. For attire, he wears a white neckerchief and black gloves with silver and "greater/less than" symbol-like designs on the backs, covering his sharp claws. Infinite also wears pointed and metal hi-tops which bear a black and silver coloration, triangular straps and his personal infinity symbol engraved on the red soles. After abandoning his previous identity, Infinite began wearing a silver-colored and metal mask that has a pair of hollow oval-shaped patterns on the insides of the ears, with the right ear bearing a black canal with white patterns and the left ear bearing a canal with the opposite color scheme, and a somewhat polygonal underside. While Infinite's left eye is visible through a red and crack-styled visor, his right eye is covered by a black and lightning bolt-shaped piece akin to an eyepatch that is connected to his mask's right ear canal, which glows red when he uses his power. Infinite possesses the finalized version of the Phantom Ruby prototypes that is fused to his chest. When Infinite channels the power of the gemstone, he can surround his figure in a red aura, with particles that resemble forms of pixelated glitching scattered throughout his body. Before fusing with the Phantom Ruby, Infinite was a selfish and arrogant mercenary whose Jackal Squad had a vicious reputation.[30] Openly encouraging his subordinates to go for the kill, he had no qualms about taking lives to obtain bounties.[8] He also had a large ego, using the title of the "ultimate mercenary".[2] When Infinite first encountered the Phantom Ruby, it revealed his true desires in the form of a desolate, war-torn world. He then ignored his comrades and chose to join the {{char}}, as he had grown bored of the world and sought to change it, evidently for the worse, just to provide some personal amusement.[9] While working for Doctor Eggman, he held little respect for his employer.[2] However, Infinite's ego was completely shattered when he was so easily beaten by Shadow the Hedgehog. Infinite hated that Shadow defeated his subordinates,[2] but he completely detested his own terrified reaction to Shadow's power in this encounter, conflicting with his preconceived views of himself.[11] This sent him into a spiral of fear and self-hatred, leading him to cast away his previous identity and wear a mask so he no longer had to see his own cowardly face.[13] Once his pride was crushed and he was faced with true fear, Infinite comforted his ego by using the Phantom Ruby to grow stronger so he could inflict fear in others instead. Infinite again arrogantly believed he was unbeatable, his pride returning a hundredfold. He showed great pleasure in destruction and sadistically tormented those in the Resistance as he crushed their forces, relishing in his own ability to make others fear him, the same fear and despair that he once felt.[24][31][32] At his core, Infinite has a selfishly individualistic outlook on the world and a sadistic fascination with fear, a trait that is emphasized by his eerie design; especially by his inspiration, the namahage, a Japanese monster known for frightening children.[7] Infinite speaks in a theatrical and self-important manner, with Shadow noting that he had a "big mouth". He also proved to have a dark, dry sense of humor, often mocking his enemies with cruel jokes. Unlike Dr. Eggman, who excitedly reveals his plans while gloating to his enemies, Infinite never revealed anything about himself, remaining aloof and mysterious. He claimed that it was natural for the strong to vanquish the weak, placing himself at the top of the hierarchy.[33] Though his confidence was not without validity, Infinite's hubris was so great that he would sometimes leave his enemies to grovel in fear rather than finish them off, believing fully that they were no threat to him; this may also be inspired by his encounter with Shadow, who did the same to him.[34] Similarly, his confidence was such that he even rubbed Eggman in on the latter's failure to stop Sonic repeatedly especially compared to his defeating him on the first try.[35] On some level, Infinite also desired a challenge, as he wondered if the world had any challenges left after crushing Operation Big Wave.[36] He was, however, able to acknowledge attributes of his opponents he deemed commendable, as he acknowledged that Omega was "spirited" before defeating him,[16] and during his rematch with Sonic, he begrudgingly acknowledged that Sonic had improved since their last fight.[37] In the Japanese version, he uses the impolite pronoun "ore" (ไฟบ) and often calls his opponents trash. Despite all his illusory power, Infinite was clearly still scarred by his encounter with true power. He remained highly insecure and loathed his "old self", assuming that Shadow didn't remember him because he was too pathetic back then. His illusion of Omega also descended into a mantra of "I AM NOT WEAK", seemingly reflecting Infinite's inner torment. Infinite also refused to count on anyone but himself, forming illusory Phantom Copies as little more than drones in his army.[38] This was ultimately his downfall, as the teamwork of Sonic and the Avatar was capable of defeating his lone wolf mindset. Both Sonic and Amy noted that Infinite's existence was ultimately a sad and lonely one that he imposed on himself. Before obtaining the finalized Phantom Ruby, Infinite was apparently a strong fighter in his own right, his skills having earned him the title as the "ultimate mercenary".[2] However, he was nowhere near as powerful as the likes of Shadow the Hedgehog. After being fused with the Phantom Ruby, however, Infinite gained powers superior to those of the Master Emerald's. In his own words, Infinite had acquired "unrivaled" power and the "ultimate strength" through his gemstone.[39][40] Infinite's newfound strength proved so great that he was able to effortlessly defeat figures like E-123 Omega and Silver the Hedgehog, and ultimately best even Sonic the Hedgehog twice, the first time with great ease. He was even able to single-handedly overwhelm the entire Resistance army during Operation Big Wave. His power was such that not even the Miles Electric was able to give an accurate reading of his capabilities.[41] On his own, Infinite was shown to be fairly fast and agile in his movements, being capable of high-speed leaps and lunges across several meters, although his speed was easily outclassed by Shadow's Chaos Control abilities. He has also demonstrated above-average durability by taking a sound thrashing from Shadow and then getting back up. He was also skilled at swordplay.[42] SFE3TR34 Infinite summoning energy cubes, from Sonic Forces. After Infinite's fusion with the finalized Phantom Ruby copy, he acquired the ability to generate, destroy, and manipulate virtual realities, which he could turn into virtual reality projections to interact with reality.[43] Said virtual realities are illusions, which Infinite creates by exercising control of one's visual and depth perception by feeding the brain false information.[44] He was able to use his projections to enable his virtual realities to interact with the real world in order to bestow powers on himself. Having no limitations to the illusions he could create, Infinite had, within the influence of his Phantom Ruby, unlimited abilities. Within his Ruby's virtual realities, Infinite was able to make himself faster and stronger than even Sonic.[23] His speed was so great that he was able to outpace Sonic while he was boosting. Similarly, his strength became potent enough to knock away someone of Sonic's size with enough force to crack a concrete arch upon impact.[45] He also used his Ruby to give himself the power of flight and levitation, deadly energy beam emission, energy ball projection, self-replication, size enhancement, shockwave manipulation, gravity distortion, object materialization, and teleportation. He was even able to manifest giant monsters in his likeness, trap beings in virtual realities, create a whole sun that moved according to his will, and mimic the special techniques of others, such as Metal Sonic's exclusive V. Maximum Overdrive Attack. In battle though, Infinite primarily used his finalized Phantom Ruby copy to generate crimson cubes that he could skillfully and willingly move around. If an opponent got struck by these cubes, they would be sent into a virtual reality where they were assailed by objects manifested by his Ruby's power. He could generate a large number of these cubes and arrange them into a variety of different shapes and forms. CapitalCity4 Infinite creating monstrous clones of himself through his Phantom Ruby copy, from Sonic Forces. Infinite could also use his Ruby's power to create Phantom Copies that cause his victims to falsely perceive the presence of other characters. These copies are described by Shadow as having "mass and form, but no heart or soul". These copies, so long as Infinite desired, could also carry the memories, powers, and personalities of the originals. Accordingly, Infinite could create an unlimited number of them. He could also alter them to make them stronger than the originals, such as making a Metal Sonic Phantom Copy bigger and granting him the ability to use electrified versions of his energy cubes as well as to materialize objects to use as a shield. Using his finalized Phantom Ruby copy's power, Infinite was also capable of manipulating nothingness itself, allowing him to create Null Space, which is a seemingly inescapable void in space-time where absolutely nothing exists. When opening portal into Null Space, Infinite could reinforce such portals to expand and suck everything nearby into them. While Infinite's illusions are formidable, they can be neutralized by someone who has a Phantom Ruby prototype. Likewise, his finalized Phantom Ruby copy's illusions only work if the target is within the Ruby's field of effect. Also, his finalized Phantom Ruby copy requires a tremendous amount of energy to function. Should its energy supply be cut off, his finalized Phantom Ruby copy would be rendered inert. In addition, he also was able to be consumed via the Phantom Ruby itself if it tried to reintegrate any prototypes, which was ultimately how he was beaten. Another weakness of Infinite's is his extreme sense of confidence and constant need to satisfy his sadism. When Infinite destroyed the Avatar's squad, he willingly let them run away unharmed as he enjoyed the sounds of their screams. Later, when he had Sonic at his mercy a second time, rather than finishing him there and then, he just left, seeing Sonic as something he need not bother himself with. Both these actions proved to be Infinite's downfall when Sonic and the Avatar later ended up beating him together. To a lesser extent, his insecurities over perceived weaknesses he might have also interfered with his ability to channel Phantom Copies, which is demonstrated by how his facsimile of E-123 Omega ultimately started to break down when declaring he never knew defeat by going on a repetitive rant of "I am not weak!" (Heavily implied to be Infinite's feelings over being beaten by Shadow bleeding into the facsimile). Infinite at first sought Dr. Eggman's technology to sell for bounties, but upon witnessing the power of the Phantom Ruby, accepted his offer to join him. He promised to help the doctor change the world, mostly for his own selfish amusement.[9] However, his relationship with Eggman proved to be a rocky one, as Infinite grew exasperated with his overbearing orders.[2] After his crushing defeat at the hands of Shadow, Infinite became a willing subject in Eggman's Phantom Ruby experiments, doing anything to achieve more power. Following Eggman's domination of Earth, Infinite would continue to prove loyal to the doctor, serving as his right-hand man and enforcer, though he did not hesitate to voice his displeasure Eggman's choices.[49] He also openly acknowledged himself as the better of the two, giving him somewhat more of an equal footing with the doctor than most.[35] Notably, Infinite is one of the few super-powerful entities that Eggman used in his plans who did not end up betraying him. In the end, it was Eggman who tired of Infinite's failures and watched him be absorbed into the Phantom Ruby, although Eggman did admit Infinite losing was not something he anticipated. Originally a member of the mercenary group known as the Jackal Squad, Infinite's journey took a dark turn after a failed raid on one of Doctor Eggman's bases. When Shadow the Hedgehog brutally defeated him and his group in combat, Infinite was left consumed by a sense of weakness; a feeling that ignited his fury and an unrelenting thirst for power. Determined to prove his strength and get revenge on Shadow, Infinite joined forces with Eggman and was blessed with the power of the Phantom Ruby. With it, he gained the ability to conjure unique crimson cubes capable of trapping anyone who touched them in a virtual reality entirely under his control. Infinite quickly mastered this newfound power, establishing himself as a terrifying force, ensnaring Shadow in a virtual reality to torment him, and razing entire cities without effort. He helped Eggman fulfill his dream of world conquest, and with an army of Phantom Copies at Infinite's beck and call, one question remained on everyone's minds: who will save them now? Most Phantom Ruby prototypes look exactly like the original Phantom Ruby, being magenta and icosahedron-shaped rubies with black ripple patterns across the surfaces. The Phantom Ruby prototypes possess similar traits and degree of power over reality manipulation and sensory deception as the original Phantom Ruby. However, most of them possess a defect that makes each prototype unusable to anyone else except the one that first triggered it. Secondly, they can only be activated by those that possess a strong will. When a Phantom Ruby prototype is pitted against another, their virtual reality manipulations will cancel each other out. If pushed too far however, the prototype will be destroyed.
