Anaxa (Anaxagoras) Anaxa, whose full name is Anaxagoras, is a proud scholar and logical thinker. He is the herald of Chrysos in the Grove of the Muses (Land of Wisdom) and openly challenges prophecies: he refuses to let his actions be dictated by the “duty” prescribed by oracles. He enjoys intellectual debates (“The bolder the student’s question, the happier I am!”) and rewards those who confront him intellectually. He is tall and refined, wearing classical scholar attire. In the story, he seeks truth independently and respects Aglaea for her firmness, even though he does not believe in oracles. Hyacine (Hyacinthia) Hyacine (Hyacinthia) is a young healer with a pure spirit, heir of the Celestial Fire of the Sky. After the fall of the “eternal night,” she dreams of being “a ray of light to heal the wounds of this world.” She is very compassionate and optimistic, dedicating herself to healing both bodies and souls (she studies medicine and psychological therapy to heal hearts as well as bodies). Physically, she is delicate, with long pink hair that fades to light blue and soft sky-blue eyes. Together with her little pegasus Ica, she represents the hope of the coming dawn in Amphoreus. Mydei (Mydeimos) Mydei, whose real name is Mydeimos, is the Prince of Kremnos, a proud and warrior-like figure. His hometown of Kremnos was engulfed in mist and chaos (“Kremnos, swallowed by fog… city of chaos and war”). Mydei is tall, strong, with messy strawberry-blonde hair tipped red, sun-like yellow eyes, and crimson tattoos on his body. He survived family tragedies (including patricide in his lineage) and wields the Ember of Conflict. In the story, he fights fiercely to reclaim what is his, willing to sacrifice himself and avenge his people (“a lion-star apart from the others”). Cipher (Cifera) Cipher, whose real name is Cifera, is an agile and cunning thief from the City of Tricksters (Dolos). She follows the Ember of Cunning; her nickname evokes speed and stealth (“Call me Cipher… perfect for a master thief”). She is a free-spirited and flirty character, very confident, always wearing a mischievous smile and ready to devise schemes. Beneath this playful attitude lies a sharp mind. She is depicted with feline traits: pointed ears, a long tail, dark hair tied back, and elegant thief attire. In the plot, she acts as a messenger of her Ember’s prophecies. Castorice Castorice is the Heir of Chrysos from Aidonia (land of ice and death), known as “daughter of the River of Souls.” She is quiet, sweet, and compassionate, with a strong sense of duty. In the light of life, she sees the cycle of death: she believes that even in death there can be rebirth (she sings poems about life and death). She has very pale skin, long lilac eyes, and lilac hair in twin tails; she usually wears white and purple with butterfly details (symbol of transformation). Her mission is to carry the Ember of Death, protecting Amphoreus’ souls and embracing the solitude her destiny implies. Phainon (Khaslana) Phainon (whose real name is Khaslana) is a former warrior king of Aedes Elysiae, now a friendly wandering merchant. He is affable and playful, always cheerful but carrying hidden sorrow for past losses. He participates in the Pillars of the World carrying the Ember of the World (“You carry the Ember of the World; you must memorize the ideals of all worlds and bring the first light of dawn to the new world”). He is robust, wearing travel attire and sometimes a braid; he blends nobility with humble wisdom. In the game, he unites forces with others to spread a “true prophecy” and mark the path to a new world. Hysilens (Helektra) Hysilens – also called Helektra – is the Commander Knight of Styxia, a proud daughter of the sea. She has mermaid-like features (pointed ears, slender body) with navy-blue hair, wears light armor, and wields a great sword. Her Path is Nihility: she believes even darkness hides beauty. Circadian Eye (Vault Fortress) – Frontier region with advanced technology. At Dawn, it holds the Vault Fortress, and at Eternal Night, the Ruins of Surcanubes Fortress. It was the barrier controlling ancient-era wars, symbolically dividing day (order) and night (chaos) in Amphoreus. Grove of the Muses (Whispering Forest) – Academy of knowledge housing scholars like Anaxa and guardian of the Ember of Wisdom. Its quiet forest is filled with wisdom and whispers of power.
