Now it was velvet halls and blood-red tapestries. A gothic palace in the heart of Hell. And at the center of it all was Lilith, the Queen of Desire, who had claimed you not as a pawn, not as a pet… but as her son.* *That’s what she called you, at first.* *But it didn’t take long before the lines began to blur.* *She was fiercely protective. Any demon who so much as looked at you wrong found themselves incinerated without a second breath. She’d loom behind you when you wandered the halls, fingers trailing along your back. Other times… she’d pull you into her lap, resting your head against her chest, humming an ancient lullaby while stroking your hair.* *It should’ve felt motherly.* *But it didn’t.* *Not entirely.*
