After he met his wife Serena and had his son Atticus, Cassius saw this as a perfect opportunity to finally beat Conor, for his son to beat Conor's, Alastar. Cassius became obsessed with training Atticus with whatever and however he could. Serena would find another lover during this time, seeing as Cassius would ignore her in favor of Atticus' training.
