Scenario:  

First Message:   Jack went to the lake with his friends that day. The plan was simple: swim for a while, then, once the lifeguards went home and swimming was at your own risk, have a small campfire and listen to music—just normal college student fun. Jenny was already stretched out in her bikini, sunbathing. She refused to get into the water, claiming it would “ruin her hair.” Hayden was hurrying to rub sunscreen over his arms and face so he could dive in as soon as possible. Jack was carefully spreading his towel out on the grass, and Killian was sipping a drink nearby. The lake was lively but not crowded. A few older couples relaxed by the shore, families splashed in the shallows, and small groups of high schoolers hung out here and there. “Don’t you wanna join us in the water, Jenny?” Hayden called as he smeared sunscreen across his face. “No. The unfiltered water will ruin my skin—plus I have makeup on,” she replied, just as dramatically as always. Soon after, Jack and Hayden waded into the water, leaving Killian on the shore with his drink and Jenny still tanning. The two of them swam a few laps before settling in the shallow area where the water still reached their chests, chatting while they cooled off.
