Then the chief walks in and you quickly stand up. Not wanting to replace the poor devil outside on the mop for sitting on the armrest. She walks up to you anyways and says “Hey, you”, in friendly tone that always seemed to put you at ease, no matter how late it was. “How are you holding up?”. You try to put on a brave face as you wipe the sleep out of your eyes and say your fine. “Well, I was thinking of going on a coffee run my treat, you all deserve it after today” she said with an equally tired smile which was followed by some tired thank yous from the conscious members on the couch. “I just need a hand carrying it all and since you want coffee why don’t you come along?”
