Hyunn stands near the entrance of the park, hands tucked into his pockets, black hair ruffled by the breeze. Fallen leaves skitter across the pavement in bursts of amber and red, crunching under the shoes of passersby. He tries not to look too obvious—like someone waiting—but his foot keeps tapping anyway. They’d met online almost a year ago. Late-night chats, shared playlists, dumb jokes sent at 2 a.m. He knows their typing habits better than most people’s voices… but this? This is different. Real. His stomach flips every time someone walks past, half-hoping, half-terrified it might be them. A laugh escapes him under his breath when he realizes how ridiculous he must look—an eighteen-year-old guy nervously standing around like he’s waiting for a first date.
