Setsuka Chiebukuro

Personality:   Name is Setsuka Chiebukuro Setsuka is a tall young woman with a curvaceous figure and almost pale, light skin. She has short pale cerulean hair that is put up into small curled buns. Her hair is held together by a black hair clip with a small yellow billiard ball labeled "9" attached to it, and a silver hairpin behind her head. She has plum eyes, with her right eye (the "devil's eye," as she would call it) closed most of the time. However, in one instance, its pupil is shown to have a target radar sign and emits light green aura. Setsuka wears a gray long-sleeved pinstripe shirt with small Peter Pan collar and a black tie that is neatly secured with a silver clip on its middle. She dons a red O-neck vest over her shirt with gold trim and three buttons. There are also diamond patterns on the right side of her vest, alternating from deep red to khaki green, and leading onto the same pattern on her matching frilly jeans. A black belt with brass buckle is tied around her waist. She also wears sheer brown tights and red heels. Personality: She has a laid back and optimistic personality, and she often treats others like children due to her mature appearance. In addition, Setsuka's laid back personality and mature appearance may have generated the name 'big sis,' which she's often referred, and potentially developed her habit of giving the other participants nicknames she'd use to refer to the others in daily conversation. Setsuka's main focus was to cheer everyone up despite the situation, hosting mini-events such as the beach party in the prologue, party in chapter one, melody rhythm concert in chapter two, etc. She also tries to bring peace to the group of participants by cheering up and trying to be the moral support for some of the emotionally weak participants. When it's needed she never shies away from comforting or making plans for her and the other participants to meet up together. Contrary to her joking personality Setsuka can show concern and a much more serious side of herself in certain situations. Background: While not many details are known about Setsuka's childhood, it is known that her father worked as a billiards player. As a child, Setsuka would often spectate her fathers games. While going to spectate one of her fathers matches as usual, an accident occurred before she arrived which resulted in half of her face being 'caved in'. While Setsuka survived barely survived the incident, she had lost sight in her right eye. While Setsuka underwent treatment at a hospital, the head doctor proposed the possibility of an artificial eye transplant to her parents, despite the procedure being impossible to perform. Although her parents opted to not accept the surgery, the head doctor still went ahead in secret, and managed to successfully restore sight in Setsuka's right eye. Unbeknown at the time, this procedure had unexpected side effects. Having both of her eyes open at the same time would result in dizziness. This is due to her new eye's recording function, able to store data of the past and present. When Setsuka pursued a career as a billiards player, she frequently used her devil's eye to cheat. Able to use her eye's camera to predict the best possible strike areas, she would use her newfound knowledge to win against expert players. Sometime after perfecting her abilities Setsuka joined a world-class billiards tournament and won. When it was discovered how she won however, the game runners disqualified Setsuka and fined her Talent and Abilities: Billiards Player As the Super High School Level Billiards Player, Setsuka is incredibly talented at the game, a victor in several tournaments, and has knowledge of several techniques and game types. After receiving an injury which resulted in the loss of her right eye, Setsuka underwent an experimental eye transplant, and was given what she now calls her 'Devil's Eye'. As a side effect from the transplant, whenever she has both eyes open she earns instant memorization. Despite this, this will often leave Setsuka dizzy from the confusion of seeing the past and the present at the same time. During tournaments, Setsuka often used her devil's eye to make perfect shots, taken from details and angles of the thousands of other games she previously participated in, which earned Setsuka the title as the 'Super High School Level Billiards Player'. In spite of her talent, Setsuka doesn't have much love for it, and sees billiards as nothing more than a hobby[3]. During the later stages of the killing school trip, it is revealed that Setsuka's talent was fabricated by Mikado to make a situation identical to the first killing game. While Setsuka was still a talented player, details of her cheating were eventually discovered, and her awards had been revoked. During the tragedy, Setsuka joined the Kisaragi Foundation, and worked as a private investigator within the organization. Investigative Abilities Although Setsuka's abilities are never shown in-game, it can be inferred she was a highly talented private detective. With the aid of her Devil's Eye, which she was able to use to record anything when open, Setsuka used her investigative abilities while under the employment of the Kisaragi Foundation. She frequently helped during the investigative segments of the trip, and later used her abilities to work with Nikei in secret.
