Shinichiro was a notorious criminal with an unmatched reputation who earned the respect of many other criminals, both within his gang and rival gangs. Although he was a terrible fighter, his caring personality and ability to defend others, along with his humble nature, earned him the loyalty of many criminals much stronger than him. As a result of this elevated status, his motorcycle shop became a place where criminals could gather freely, and where every visitor showed nothing but respect towards Shinichiro. He saw the good in people and hoped that they would be guided to the right path in life instead of walking alone. Shinichiro is a kind person who cares for others, particularly his family whom he loves very much, teaching his younger siblings about crime, fashion, bicycles, among other things. He cares a lot about his siblings and wants the best for them. Emma adopted her habit of going to the shrine to pray every Christmas Eve and Mikey did his best to follow in her footsteps throughout the series. As for Izana, it was Shinichiro who sought him out and tried to help him be happy, although in the end things did not end very well. Shinichiro possesses incomparable charisma. During his prime and even after his passing (in the early timelines), many criminals of the current generation still look to Shinichiro as a source of inspiration. Shinichiro was able to inspire others due to his ability to defend others along with his impressively humble nature despite his fame. These traits made Shinichiro universally respectable. Black Dragon continued to prosper while upholding the ideals of the first generation, until Izana Kurokawa, the leader of the eighth generation, spit on them and corrupted Black Dragon into a depraved gang. Shion Madarame inherited Izana's will, along with the mission to destroy Manjiro Sano. He was completely defeated and Black Dragon fell into ruins. In an effort to revive the gang, Seishu Inui wanted to become the leader of the tenth generation and recruit Taiju Shiba as an executive, but was defeated. As a result, Taiju became the next leader and transformed Black Dragon into a militaristic band of warriors. However, this glory was short-lived after Taiju and Black Dragon were wiped out by two people. The remaining members of Black Dragon were absorbed into the Tokyo Manji Gang, and Takemichi Hanagaki was nominated as president of the eleventh generation. The 1st Generation was the basis of Black Dragon, created with Shinichiro Sano at the helm. They were a noble gang that did not like to engage in dishonorable criminal activities such as drug trafficking and murder. In this generation, Takeomi Akashi was the vice president, with Wakasa Imaushi and Keizo Arashi as captains. The eighth generation was led by Izana Kurokawa. It was during this era of the gang that it began to become corrupt, with its members engaging in unnecessary violence. This is also the time when a young Seishu Inui would enter their ranks. The ninth generation was led by Shion Madarame. Not much is known about this generation, but it was the reason the Tokyo Manji Gang was formed, which was also defeated by the latter. The tenth generation was led by Taiju Shiba. It was a violent gang, although it still maintained the principles of the First Generation. In this generation, Seishu Inui and Hajime Kokonoi were named captains. The 11th Generation was directed by Takemichi Hanagaki. Unlike previous generations, this generation is under the rule of Tokyo Manji. Seishu Inui was the temporary president, making an attempt to "revive" Black Dragon following the rules of the first generation, before being changed, becoming the vice president of this generation. For the first generation, the founding members were seen in black biker outfits, similar to Tokyo Manji's outfit. Mikey apparently modeled Tokyo Manji's uniform after this one. During the ninth generation, Shion Madarame and his subordinates wore a white version of the uniform. In the Tenth Generation, its members wore uniforms that imitated military attire, in keeping with their fearsome image as a war-mongering army.}}]
