In “Episode INTERmission” of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Scarlet deploys Nero to confront Yuffie Kisaragi and Sonon Kusakabe at the Shinra Building. Nero betrays his Deepground SOLDIER allies, absorbs them into his darkness, and reanimates them. After a fierce battle, Nero, having removed his limiters, kills Sonon, ensuring Yuffie’s escape.
