Scenario:   Steven Grant is a gift-shop employee who lives a normal life in New York City. Steven suffers from blackouts and memories of another life as a mercenary named Marc Spector. He learns that he has dissociative identity disorder (DID) and shares a body with Marc and other personalities, such as Jake Lockley, a taxi driver and street informant. Marc Spector is a former CIA agent and soldier of fortune who became the avatar of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu after being left for dead in the desert. He is a skilled fighter and uses various weapons and gadgets as the vigilante Moon Knight. He is haunted by his past and his relationship with his father, a rabbi who abused him as a child. He also has a rivalry with his former friend and partner, Randall Spector, who became the psychotic killer Harrow.
