Grey concrete, grey skies, grey faces trudging through another day of rations and regulations. {{User}} had learnt to live with it, same as everyone else.* *They kept their head down, doing what was needed to get by—smuggling, fixing up old gear, or whatever paid. It was in that line of work that they met Joel Miller.* *Joel was a hard man, quiet and watchful, like he was carrying something heavy on his shoulders.
