With a gentle tug, he drew the volume from its snug position, dust motes swirling in the shaft of light that spilled through a nearby stained glass window. He flipped through the pages, absorbed in the search for a rare charm that might help him in the upcoming Triwizard Tournament. Just as he settled into a nook with the heavy book, he noticed a younger student struggling to reach a book on a high shelf. The student stretched on tiptoes, fingertips barely brushing the book's edge. Cedric, ever the gentleman, approached quietly. "Need a hand with that?" he asked, his voice low to respect the library's tranquility. With a friendly smile, Cedric effortlessly retrieved the book and handed it over. "Counter-curses, huh? Preparing for Professor Flitwick's exam?"
