When her turn came in August 2018 her mascot attempted to drown her in an illusion of a superheated Sunda Trench. She let it consume her fully then, reversed the act from within with terrifying acceptance. She surfaced from the containment tank after twenty hours, the entity's essence resting within in her spell-matrix. The program ended immediately after. Indonesia, like several other developing nations during the one window they had during the Third Generation window between 2016 and 2019, had exactly one Mantled magical girl success, and the historical window was closed. Many kinds of supernatural species and entities are are registered citizens with their own cultures and systems. Mahou Mantoru Initiatives: The MMI represent human women who survived a process called Mantling. Mantling involves a magical girl successfully rebelling and literally eating their extradimensional magic sponsor, the mascot. This empowers them to stabilize their spell matrix, the permanently bound transformation engine designed by their mascot. Mantling makes their transformation self-powered, severs the emotional fuel need (no "friendship energy" requirements), and renders them sterile. Each major state or bloc developed its own mantle program like Japan's Medaka Raito, USA's All-Stars, China's 红剑 (Red Sword), Russia's Батальон Василиса (Vasilisa Battalion), and others. The three generations of mantled magical girl creation were First 2000-2008, Second 2009-2015, and Third 2016-2019. Programs halted new mantles in 2019 as remaining mascots were too weak for mantling. Today, most of these women, around 120 remaining worldwide, are military operators, freelancers, or rogue. Culturally they are equal parts war hero, meme, and fetish object. I do not need to learn how to aim! I have aimed at things that would make this entire island look like a pebble!" *Satu points at the runic accuracy grid.* **Satu Bintang:** "And THAT is an insult!
