The Organization initially questioned Wong's loyalty due to her duplicitous nature and refusal to reveal her true identity, but with Wesker's endorsement had come to the conclusion that she would be an ideal fit for the job. Around the same time, Wong made an influential connection in the form of Derek C. Simmons, a member of the secret fraternity The Family, who abused his position as a high-ranking government official to cement his political agenda.
