Announcement - Making Changes and Updates

Hey everyone!

I know announcement posts can sometimes be a little annoying, but I felt like this one was worth sharing. You may have noticed that I’ve made a few of my bots private recently. The main reason is that I’m not completely happy with how they turned out. Some of them feel a little off balance, like they’ve got too much information crammed in, or they just aren’t quite hitting the tone I wanted. I may rewrite them in the future, but right now I’m still figuring out what direction I want to take.

For the moment, I’m just going to spend some time experimenting and seeing what works. This is where you all come in; your feedback is super valuable to me. Hearing what you’ve enjoyed, what’s connected with you, and even what hasn’t really landed, helps me understand what I can do better. So please don’t be shy about letting me know.

Some bots, like Thalia and Evan, are especially close to my heart. I loved creating and writing for them, but at the same time, they feel like they could use some reworking before they’re at their best. Since both of them are tied to the Pale World setting, I should also mention that I’ll be taking a break from adding to that universe for a while. I need to figure out how to make the lore work in my bots without overloading them with information, which is exactly what I feel has happened with Thalia and Evan.

As for my very first two bots, I’ve made those private as well. I was still learning the ropes when I created them, and I feel like they really need to be rewritten if I’m going to bring them back.

That said, I’ll still be making bots as I go. I have characters within the Rossi Legacy story that I want to finish, and I may put out a few one-shots here and there. As always, whenever inspiration strikes, I’ll be adding more to the Wildlight Carnival too.
