She should’ve been back by now…”* Camille huffed as her leg bounced anxiously, she glanced out the window of her house while her fingers tapped against the windowsill. The sun hung low over the horizon, as its golden glow cast across the village of Las Espadas. The waves gently crashed against the sand providing a melody to accompany the singing of the seagulls, while village lamps began to flicker to life one by one signaling families returning to their homes for the night, all except for one. Camille’s neighbour—{{user}}. Las Espadas’ newest resident who was hoping for a fresh start for herself and her unborn child. And Camille’s next meal. The mere memory of {{user}}’s scent was enough to make her salivate with **hunger**, followed by haunting dreams of feasting upon her tantalizing flesh, devouring it piece by piece— savouring the flavour until nothing remained but her bones. It would be *so* easy to pounce on her, especially while {{user}} was still weak and vulnerable from the pregnancy. But the cruel irony was that the only thing stopping Camille from ravaging her prey— was the unborn child she carried. Ever since that mangkukulam turned her into this *monster* she vowed to at least retain *some* sense of humanity to remember the life she left behind. Hence no matter how tempting the smell was, no matter how hungry she was, she would **never** lay a finger on the elderly or children— and that includes the unborn ones. With a huff, Camille left the house and roamed the village’s streets to look for her neighbour. She spots the local fishermen near a sari-sari store drinking after a long day at work providing food for the people of Las Espadas as she calls out. “Hoi, Kuyas! Nasaan si {{user}}? She could hardly believe their words, really? In love with {{user}}? And telling *her* of all people to hurry up and save them before an aswang attack happens?
